I didn't know what to expect after reading all the mixed reviews, but if you are truly a Dark Hunter fan and a fan of Acheron then don't get put off by all the negative comments. This was a great read and the only reason it took me a week was because I didn't have time to read it in one sitdown! It really didn't leave much unanswered. I was just disappointed when it finished. I wanted more. I truly enjoyed this one in the series, might even be my favorite so far. Keep up the good work Sherrilyn Kenyon, can't wait for the next one.

I Love this book, but ? Is aphrodite the daughter of zeus or a blood relative? Because if not the is no way in hell should julian be able to hold the sword of cronus. Cronus was zeus's father, which makes artemis his aunt and not his cousin as julian calls her in kyrian's book

Immortals after dark is a great series of books, I've read them all! They have everything, drama, love scenes, humor, and every "paranormal figure" you can think of. It's hard to pick a favorite character/book, but I might have to go with Cade & Holly's story. Will definitely keep reading when more books are released!

The series is written in first person and is about Cat, half-human and half-vampire. Her mum got raped by a vampire and because of that Cat hunts and kills vampires. In the first book, Halfway to the Grave, she is forced to team up with another vampire called Bones. Bones is pretty much a bounty hunter/hitman and he tries to track down a ruthless vampire who kidnaps and sells human girls. Cat and Bones have an awesome chemestry going on and of course they hook up. The book reminded me a lot of Buffy, not because she is a vampire slayer but because the book has an awesome sense of humor without being silly. I have been reading romance novels since I was 15, so a good 20 years now. In my mind nothing like a cup of tea and a good romance novel to escape and unwind at the end of a day. Just to give a sample of my taste, other authors I enjoy are: Jen Holling, Connie Brockway, Johanna Lindsey, Julie Garwood, Christina Dodd, just to name a few. Zsadist was just such a powerful vampire, but his past held him captive made him uneasy to be around, hard as stone, and very dangerous...until Bella made him feel worthy. This novel held everything..it was captivating, drama filled, griping, a tear jerker, and heartfelt...oh so touching(I felt like I was watching a TV movie). He was so sexy, thuggish, strong, a straight up ruffneck. I would read it all over again just to catch some of Z's world..the struggles...the pain..the tenderness...the awakening...the challenge of change.....the growth... the tears...the love.

I love this novel just as I did the first "Dark Lover", how could I not. OMG!! I am in love with BDB, but I have to say Mary got on my nerves! That woman was so back and forth she drove poor Rhage up the wall. A vampires love is deep especially once they have marked/bonded their female. He did so much 2 show his love and devotion 2 her and she could not understand y..GIRL GONE!! I'm towards the end of the 3rd installment by J.R. Ward, I'm loving every word..I'm truly a fan.

This is by far my favorite vampire romance series. I just love them ALL!! Cannot wait for the next release. I'd advise anyone that likes vampire romance to buy this series!! Vishous & Jane and Zsadist's & Bella's books are awesome; I've read Z's book twice!!
