Ahh, how I love Tokyo Babylon. Its probably my favorite work by CLAMP (and one of their oldest). The story, the characters, its all just so wonderful. A bit bittersweet though, and some of the stories will bring a tear to your eye while others will turn your stomach..or maybe both. =) I find it to be an endearing story.......but maybe I'm just an evil tokyo babylon fangirl.

Great reading. You need to read all 3 books to get the full picture.

Babylon 5 is one of my all-time favorite shows. I decided that I wanted to see what else was offered in JMS's amazing universe and happened across this book first. I thought that learning the origins of the Psi Corps and the station's favorite telepath would be fun. Instead, I dragged myself through page after page of dull accounts and rapidly cycling characters and political dullness. I'm hoping that the books about Londo Molari are more interesting than this one was.

I'm impressed by the author's ability to fill in many of the missing spaces left there by the television series. This book has revealed to me how life was for Sinclair after he left Babylon 5, and the process of how he got the title and position of Entil'Zha (or "Ranger One"). We get to see more clearly the difference between the two worlon embassadors Kosh and Ulkesh, and get an idea about how this difference is going to manifest in the future of the series. I can recommend this book to every Babylon 5 fan, and have to admit that after I recieved it, it was a delight to sit down and just read it from the beginning until the end!

This is a well-written novel spinoff from the Babylon 5 and Crusade television series. Writing is enjoyable, the author appears to have the background data down correctly, and while only 1 character spent any time as a tv character (galen, probably less than 10 crusade episodes + call to arms?) 'early year' books always get some leeway on character development. Obviously Elric was a character in 'geometry of shadows' but 5 minutes of dialogue (if that) is just the bare-bones of a written character. It was an enjoyable read, and didn't feel contrived or poorly constructed. My main complaint is why anyone wants to read about the adventures of Anna as a shadown warship cpu.
