A fantastic novel that although a work of fiction, touches on some of the most important topics of our time. This novel is filled with details that those in the know will recognize and appreciate. Mr. Thor has clearly done his homework and more importantly (for a novel) has woven current events and fiction together into a breathtaking tale that won't let go of you once you start.

I loved this story. I couldn't put the book down. In fact, I read it all in less than 24 hours. It was exciting, a real page turner. I loved what I thought as the very real dysfunctional family related to the death of their father, being raised with lots of money and privilege and teens who were typically rebellious and a mother who was too busy with her career to care. I do believe a lot of these families do exist. And to see them struggle but grow and mature with near disasters is heart warming. We can only hope that it could actually happen to families such as these. The story was action packed--never a boring minute. The "new" husband was exactly the kind of guy known as a "gold digger". If you open the Kindle edition of the book by double-clicking on the title in your list of books the Kindle edition opens at Chapter 1. Don't do that. If you do you miss the Prologue. The Prologue sets up a conflict at the heart of the story. I liked the book without the Prologue but it would've been better with it. To access the Prologue you need to use the Menu to open the book. You can get there from the Title page and use Next Page to go forward or you can choose one of the other options that preceed Chapter 1.

Although I found it slow and rugged going at first, I found that I was utterly fascianated about 1/3 of the way through. This book is about identity theft, and it is really scary! We all know that all kinds of information is out there about each and every one of us, but I don't think we realize the scope of this, and we certainly don't realize the dangers! In this book Lincoln Rhyme is after a particularly devious killer that uses information and identity theft as part of his arsenal to gain power. It is not an easy book to read since some of the stuff that occurs is particularly frightening (as in how easy it is to set a completely innocent person up as a scapegoat or to steal everything that person has). The latest in the Jack Reacher Series. It keeps your interest with every page. Some people I know have complained about it being hard to follow but I did not find it difficult. If you like Jack Reacher you will like this book.

WWE has basically the same plot as POTE. Some obvious similarities: Jack-Merthin Lady Aliena-Philippa William Hamleigh-Ralph Fitzgerald The list goes on. This book is repetitous and has the same pattern as POTE, good versus evil with a lot of architectural jargon thrown in. I loved Pillars abut soon tired of WWE. Follett is a gifted writer. He deserves to write a book about a subject that fascinates him. It was just too much for this reader.

In this latest FBI series do not be looking for a good read. Ms Coulter is way off track on this one. It starts out well but goes downhill from there. There is much repetition and if you are looking for a relationship between the the newest FBI agent and the female protaganist..forget it..it sort of melts away. Those characters are not well developed and it ends up focusing on Savich and Sherlock..her main FBI characters. And really a shoot out in a Barnes and Noble bookstore in downtown DC! It makes them all look so incredibly ridiculous! Sorry but i am not enamored of this latest book.

I loved true to the game it should have been left alone. The part two and three takes away from the realness of part one. But part 3 was the worst ever!!1 It seems like it was just put out to shut the readers up!!! I am still waiting for Dutch 3, but I hope it won't be a mess like this
