The product itself arrived in great condition as promised. However, I am extremely dissapointed with the way it was shipped to me. I chose to pay extra money to get the book to me the next day, a Friday, because I needed it for class. Unfortunatly, Amazon.com couldn't be bothered to get the package to me until Monday, which made my life very difficult. I wouldn't have even gotten the book on time for class on Monday if I hadn't called UPS and told them I was supposed to have gotten the book several days ago. I will not trust Amazon.com to get books to me with next day shipping ever again. If I need a book in a short amount of time I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I also bought the cd-rom's thinking that the paperback textbook is included. I should have read the customer reviews first before buying it. I hope amazon would do something about the misleading advertisement.

Improve Your English: English in Everyday Life (DVD w/ Book) (Improve Your English) I'm not really sure what I was expecting when I ordered this dvd & book set for a friend, but this isn't it. What you get is a dvd full of people talking, in the most mind-numbingly dull fashion, on the most gruelingly uninteresting subjects imaginable. It is much like watching the worst public access cable program, from a town you don't live in or care about, if the said show were to have an accompanying text that also had a glossary. I think that a person could get just as much out of watching boring television, with closed-captioning, and referring to a dictionary. This product has a sedative side effect.
