I have read most of the books in the Rich Dad series, and this last one has been on my bookshelf for seven years. I finally read it this week, looking for some insight into the current (10/10/2008) stock market and financial crisis. This book was harder to understand and less complete than the other books in the Rich Dad series, and the chapters on the different classes of investors was basic to me, but that is probably because I've attended a half-dozen Rich Dad seminars over the years, read the other books in the series and I've played the Cashflow game, which I highly recommend. However, I don't particularly recommend this book. This is the only Rich Dad book in which I found the writing to be stilted and phony, particularly when Kiyosaki is recreating his childhood ... In his latest book "Prophecy", Robert T. Kiyosaki predicts a major stock market crash in the near future. This, he says, is a result of the baby boomers (mostly) saving for their retirement via stock investments and given that a large number of them will retire from 2016 onwards their investments will have to be cashed in as it will be needed and as a result the market will fall if not crash. Apart from that, RK says, that most baby boomers may not actually see their money ever again as more often than not most of it is invested in their own companies, i.e., the ones they work for, and if their employer goes down the drain so will their funds saved for retirement. I received it just before an international business trip, and didn't get any sleep on the flight because I was pouring over the basic concepts and ideas that fill this wonderful book. If you are already in real estate and know the basics, you may not need this book. If you already have your team of advisors and know who to go for when you have questions, you may not need this book. If you understand the differences between LLCs and LP and why one is better in California than in Nevada, you may not need this book. I'm 16 and I've read many books about finance and investing including Rich Dad Poor Dad but this book is just to simple it's just a cut down version from the original book if you want to read a Kiyosaki book just get Rich Dad Poor Dad

Rich Dad's Before You Quit Your Job: 10 Real-Life Lessons Every Entrepreneur Should Know About Building a Multimillion-Dollar Business (Rich Dad's) This book allowed me to have peace of mind and be prepared to go into business. For someone like me who will be starting a small business, rather than looking for another job, it walks you through the different phases before you are cut loose. It certainlly helped me have a different point of view and enableded me to decide and not hesitate on what I have been wanting to do for a long time: get in the road to the I quadrant.

So far this book is telling you to become rich or stay where you are and either stay poor or become poor because the world will pass you by as times get worse. My problem/question is if everyone is hurting for money who will buy your products, service or real esate if there are few jobs and less money or the dollar is worth less? Robert and Donald I guess are above needing money they are so rich. Over all how can you stay rich once you become rich if you can not sell you product or service, or rent out you real estate? To prepare for what is coming I would read books on prepardness. Maybe by getting riich fast you will have the money to prepare but after things get bad what do you do if all you have is a broken business, a apartment complex that no one can afford to rent and worse you can collect from the squaters there ... I recommend this book if you like Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I think it is a great book, definitly worth reading. I like the way Kiyosaki stresses the power to achieve your dreams is in your mind. Get a positive outlook, and look for things previously unseen to you.
