This book was a very easy read. It would definitly appeal to the casual reader. It was full of humor and action and I could hardly put it down.

Great beach reading! I read this book in one sitting. The story moves well and I enjoyed the author's intimate knowledge of horses. I reccommend this book to all my "horsey" friends.

I enjoyed the novel, the characters were real, it is a quick easy read, I have read Water for Elephants which is her 3rd novel and it is to die for but this one held my interest.

The main one is of an almost veterinarian, Jacob Jankowski, who becomes caught up in the life of a circus. It is a romance: boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back (whoopee). In the afterword the author explains that she was wanting to do a story about the photographer of circus', but she got caught up in all the rest of the circus history and it became this book. It is worthy and good. The second is of the same man in a nursing home, or some such place, who sort of does not belong there. He has lived his life and remembers it well. I loved the book. It was by far one of the greatest finds in the last years. It was funny, full of life and with an inocence that let you wanted more. Great book for everyone.
