I bought this book months ago and read it with my older two children each night for our storytime. They are ages 6 and 10. I absolutely loved the book, regardless of the fact that the author took a few creative liberties as mentioned in other reviews. While I would love it to be absolutely perfect and true, I've found that many children's bibles are so factual they don't hold a child's attention. I feel this book is accurate in the important things, and only deviates from very little things that would require more explaining, thus making the story too complicated. Like one reviewer mentioned the book says Jesus fed 5000 people when it was actually 5000 men plus women and children. Cutest big sister book. My 2 year old loves it. The artwork is really good. Would be really great and pertinent for a big sister with about a 5-6 year span from the new baby.

What a delightful little Bible story book for children (6 & Under). The rhyming is pure rhythm and flows so smoothly. Highlighting the good stories from Genesis, Exodus, 1 Samuel, Daniel, Luke, Mark, and Matthew; this soft and fuzzy bear Bible will help you as a parent guide your little one through some important stories to learn for a start. It is a great introduction to the Bible and would make a wonderful bed time or quiet time read. The pictures are colorful and just make me smile. I just love it!

Great book! It really shines above other lift the flap books because the flaps are very very durable. We've had ours for three years now and two kids and all the flaps are intact.

My granddaughter is 15 months old and loves Old MacDonald Had a Farm. After I bought Old McNoah for her, it quickly became her favorite book. She has a library of about 15 books (and growing!). When I ask her to get a book for me to read, she invariably gets Old McNoah. The pictures are eye catching and the sounds are even better. Whereas Old McDonald has a moo moo here and there, Old McNoah also has a bang bang (hammer), an oopsie daisey (the ark was crowded), a burp slurp (they had to eat) and a poo poo (they had to do other functions also!) in addition to the moos, quacks and oinks we have always heard. The pages are thick enough that a toddler can turn them without tearing them and it has provided hours of fun and education at my daughter's home.

This brightly illustrated book does a wonderful job explaining different Christmas symbols: lights, Christmas trees, angels, and presents; in light of the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus' birth. My 3-year-old son loves this book and asks for it more than he does the Santa Claus books. This book has helped me to have conversations with my children about Jesus as we enjoy all of our Christmas traditions. I highly recommend it! My wife absolutely fell in love with this book the first time she saw it. It has replaced Goodnight Moon as our primary bedtime book for our two year old. The illustration is absolutely fantastic, and the gentle rhymes are great for our child to repeat with us.

I bought this book for my 11 month old daughter and she loves it! I have several books for her already and this is her favorite. Each page has a flap with the particular animal you are blessing behind it. I believe this book is great for helping to develop small motors skills (opening the flaps)and tests their memory on where the flap is located on the page.
