I share most of the sentiments other negative reviewers have expressed about the book. It's insulting to every employee's intelligence (if they have any), although it was a nice way to waste several hours (it took me about 15 minutes to read the book, but we spent hours having meetings and group talks about it led by management). Just thinking about it now makes me glad to be out of the corporate realm and in a small private office.

Everything in this book should come as common sense to any employee worth their paycheck. And it's not necessarily the right way of going about things, although having a positive attitude always helps you out regardless of what situation you're in. But blindly following change does not always make you a good employee, and that's where this book steers ... Read More

I am blazing through 'Stealth Jihad', witten by Robert Spencer. That guy hits the nail on the head. He puts in perfect words about the naiveté and futility of the now seemingly bi-partisan belief that we can negotiate ourselves into a state of coexistance with the imperialistic Islamic agenda. As he writes, there is absolutely nothing we can do or not do that will change the radical Islamic view of our society or bring a peaceful state of coexistance.

This is a world war we are in and it is a war of ideals and religion (the most grave sort). As referenced in the book, the first rule of war is to know your enemy and to understand the nature of the battle you are in and that is where our policies have failed. You can't win the hearts and minds of the Islamist, no more successfully than ... Read More

Spencer may be known for writing relatively useless tabloids, but he clearly is not inept to author books as complicated as this. First of all, "The Truth about Muhammad" is simply a personal criticism and lacks any concrete evidence. The author has done a poor job researching the topic; furthermore, some of the authors sources can be classified as racist hate-literature.

Also, the book was poorly written and very boring. Only a white-supremacist would find this book worthwhile.

I enjoyed this book enormously. It was very insightful. It certainly changes our misconceptions regarding history and how things are connected. Although it is something that people are not used to hearing, it is necessary read, and has evidence to back up its claim. With the war on terror showing no signs of abating and as the terrorists strike all who are not in accord with their cause, this book not only provide an insight into the problem from a historical point of view, it also shows how easily Islam's distortion came about. This book changes many misconceptions. The idea of jihad is the center of it all, something that ought to be criticized or rejected for the world to be at peace.

A quote in The Union Moujik, says that the jihadists are the quasi-faithful. "they kill for the sake of reasoning, a reasoning ... Read More

The title of this book saved me the $$ that this book costs and a lot of time and mental-bandwidth too. Please keep coming up with such intuitive titles to save me the time and money.

My 6 year olds therapist recommended this book to me to understand anxiety and different ways to handle it. Boy the Dragon is such a wonderful and easy way to deal with it. The therapist said "This is the anxiety Bible for young children" and I can see why she says that. I have never experienced anxiety in children or adults so this is starting me off from the beginning and I am getting a hold of it and tackling it quick. Great read for parents that do not understand anxiety!

Books : Butterflies and Moths (Golden Guides)
This little book's awesome. It's a great beginner's book, and even if you're not a beginner, chances are you'll find it useful. It's good for an intro to species, and since there are few moth books around, I find the moth section very helpful. For such a small book, obviously you won't have a whole lot of species, but it's got some of the most conspicuous, common, and interesting ones. Also, it's got animals from the major families, so at least if you see an unfamiliar animal, you have an idea of what family it's in and what it's related to. The information on spreading boards alone was worth the purchase, as I'd had no idea how to preserve lepidoptera before this book. And to the reviewer who said this taught you sick murdering techniques, the book recommends you collect sparingly IF you collect at all, and that you not take protected species. I've ... Read More

My cardiac surgeon gave me a copy of this book as I lay in the recovery room following my heart attack, catheterization and stent placement. Now I have sent it to two of my adult children, and will send it to the other two. This is a difficult read for a layperson, but is the clearest description of the connection between genetics, lifestyle, food, and drink. This is a must for anyone who wishes to fully understand and be proactive about one's own health.
