I have always been very fond of Robert Wagner, when heard this book was out, i simply had to read it, and have it in my collections.

I read this book in a matter of days, the stories in it were extremely interesting and i couldn't put it down. i loved how Mr. Wagner got into show business and wasn't he the lucky one to meet all these wonderful famous icons. Not only meet them, but get to be good friends and all the great advice he was given. He made these actors sound like real people like you and me.

There were funny segments and very sad chapters. Mr. Wagner sounds like someone anyone would like for a friend.

This is a wonderful way to hear about Rj's life. His voice is known to so many, and his story has everything in it. Love, laughs, tragedy. This man is such an important part of Hollywood, and I'm so glad he's finally come out with his story and that he's such a lucky guy to spend the past 20+ years with one of the world's great beauties, Jill St. John. I recommend this CD to anyone who wants to enjoy a life well lived.

Although the book is entitled "Practical Intelligence," I believe that Sternberg et al have produced a work that could become the standard reference for the measurement and management of tacit knowledge (TK).

From the opening sentence of the preface, "Practical intelligence is what most people call common sense", the reader knows that they are about to delve into an inherently practical and easily readable book. Even though the text is strongly academic, with almost thirty pages of references, the writers use straightforward language that clearly explains the nature, development, context and role of Practical Intelligence and more specifically, how Practical Intelligence is predicated on TK. They also describe an interesting and intuitively sensible method to develop and apply tools ... Read More
