I love the Twilight Series and was upset when I had finished reading them. I was searching for more great books to read and found them. The Morganville Vampires series is amazing. It's right up there with "Twilight". You will not be dissapointed. I can not wait until the next one is published.

This series is a feast. It is an absolute delight to devour each book in the Moganville Saga. If you haven't started at the beginning, waste no time in doing so. The title is "Glass Houses" and each volume gets progressively more intense and more frightening. In "Feast of Fools", the fourth installment, Claire is terrified to see that her parents have moved to her college town at the same time the World's head honcho vampire has returned there. Claire has pledged her loyalty to Amelie, the head vampire in the town. This ensures herself, and her friends protection to some extent. Joanna Baldwin, our favorite weather warden is back! Here's the good news, she and David are getting married. Bad news..... there's a group named the Sentinels who are anti-djinn and out to get her w/ a vengeance. Finally we get to see Jo and Dave in a relaxed setting (for a while anyway). Imara is involved in this installment but I'd like to see more depth into her character. She could be an exquisite storyline, but Rachel never seems to put more thought into the character but drops her name every now and again. I did find a bit of inconsistency w/ how the Djinn can be enslaved and also Jo's own enslavement w/ the demon mark. Further, Bad Bob's character was a train-wreck of inconsistency w/ him dying or not dying, being a demon or no demon; there was no clarity there. I purchased and devoured "My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding," so was incredibly eager to read this one as well. While I was glad to read another story about Harry Dresden in any form, I found most of the rest of the stories not really worth my time. The vast majority of them assume knowledge of long-standing series, which end up cheating these shorter contributions - meant to either fill in the gap or entice you to try the series - from any semblance of satisfaction. Armstrong's uses the protagonists from the first two novels in the "Women of the Otherworld" series and delivers a story that's all action and no feeling. I enjoyed Butcher's Dresden story, but even for being as big of a fan as I am, I think it's probably the weakest Dresden story I've ever read. Wow. Rachel Caine wasn't kidding with the end of Ill Wind (Weather Warden, Book 1). And the second Weather Warden book, HEAT STROKE, takes that unexpected ending and runs with it. Wild. And Jo doesn't get much more of a breather than the reader does as she's plunged headlong into life as a Djinn. Or one half of a Djinn. Or a Djinn in training. Who can tell for sure? Good thing the lovely David is there to help her get a grip on her new reality. Unfortunately, it turns out David broke a few not-so-minor rules when he saved her life and the head Djinn Jonathan isn't happy with him. No, sir. Jonathan's not a bit happy.
