I've read all the breed books and wait impatiently for the next installment. I don't know how Lora Leigh does it but even after all the breed books they haven't gotten stale nor has she strayed from the formula of using each book to mate a couple. The story revolves around the couple, not the other way around. I think that's become a problem with a lot of my favorite authors such as JR Ward and Christine Feehan, they've lost focus as to what kept readers coming back, a good love story. I'm not going to rehash the entire story you can read that in other reviews but in this book we get Mercury and Ria's story. I simply loved this story. Guy finds love of his live, is forced to be dead, lives his life on automatic pilot. He is finally forced to reenter her life when she's in danger and they fall for each other again. If you don't like slightly weepy stories, this might not be for you, but its hot and emotional. A good read.

OK - I'm a new fan of Nalini Singh and have been a fan of Lora Leigh for a long time - since she only wrote on ebooks - so I was excited to see what the two other authors could contribute. I was rather disappointed. Anthologies to me, are a way to introduce established readers of some authors to new, truly great authors. This pairing of McCarthy and Winstead Jones is lacking in the introductory sense. They are clunky and I don't know whether it was the editing, but neither story flowed either in plot or character development. I like my stories to flow like a movie in my head and I was feeling rather like I needed to walk out of this movie and get a reimbursement for my trouble. Lora Leigh is a wonderful author. This series is well written, compelling and engrossing. You won't want the books to end.

I love most of Lora Leigh's books, but this one was just okay. Most of the time her main characters (both male and female) are strong and witty. But this time, I found that Cam was kind of whiny. Don't get me wrong the sexual experiences are well written and very hot, I just prefer a guy who's not so torn about what he wants.

The heroine didn't seem like a great agent, the sex scenes weren't juicy, and the only character that came off interesting was the villain!

I was extremely dissapointed with this book. It really wasn't what I thought it would be. The storyline about Mac&K was soooo torturously drawn out and explained over and over I actually had to skim over it alot. The plot about someone wanting to kill Keiley was really stupid and I honestly didn't care at all. That too I had to skip eventually. There weren't as many sex scenes as there should have been with such a large book, I think there was like 5 maybe, and only 2 were good. The first one the 2 of them do it leaning against a tractor and it was really retarded how she wrote it. I just thought it wasn't stimulating to read about 3 people on a southern farm eating soup and pot roast after sex. It just....ugh. Don't waste your money. Borrow it from the library if you absoluetly must...

I won't go into the plots as it's been done. Tropical Heat and Desert Heat were 5's. But Atlanta Heat was a 3. There wasn't much of a plot to it, just Macey and Em lusting after each other, explicit sex and misunderstandings; Macey telling Em he loves her, repeatedly, she doesn't believe him. I've read Lora Leigh before and she's very good, just not this one.

The book and series are full of hot sex and I prefer our men in these books to be of the Alpha Male and stay that way. This book sold me on the rest of the series and hopefully it will be a little more true to form on presenting an Alpha that knows he is one and wants to remain one.
