Probably the primary reason that something is easy to learn is because it's interesting. Spelling and vocabulary building are usually not among those that arouse interest; however, this book makes these topics interesting for the student by creating amusing word-use sentences that involve teen-think. My daughter really likes using it for her weekly (homeschooled) vocabulary lessons.

The book is really helpful when you need help on the verbal section because it is full of good questions and explanations. The only problem is that the math problems are too easy. Compared to the real test the math problems are bad. I recommend this for you people who need help with the verbal sections. It would have gotten a 5 star if it had harder math problems.

This book was extremely useful tool, the pre-test we formated the same way as the test and the break down of the material and how to do it was a wonderful teaching tool. Overall I would recommend this particular book to anyone about to take the General Knowledge Test.

I am very dissappointed with this book. The book does not separate out the text. Therefore, if you are studying pediatrics you have to go thru all of the adult info(which anyone who works in peds knows, it's not the same). Also, the practice tests are not separated either, so they have a 150 question test but it relates to Adult, peds & neonatal. Why would I be studying & practicing test questions for an adult exam I am not going to take. I thought the book was a waste of my time and money and so I returned it. It is a very hard read even if you try to separate out the info yourself, it's very frustrating.
