I really loved this book. I finished the book in 2 days! I liked the storyline of the teens. Lots in the book, but interesting ending that pulled it together.

I've been on a bit of a recreational reading kick lately... probably trying to escape the stress of the economy. Anyway, my number finally came up at the library for the latest Myron Bolitar novel by Harlan Coben... Fade Away. It's been awhile since I've had the pleasure of reading Bolitar's irreverent dialog and his interaction with his partner Win Lockwood. And as always, it's a treat. Bolitar, a sports agent and one-time promising basketball phenom (before his knee was blown out at the very start of his professional career), is approached by the owner of the New Jersey Dragons. They're a playoff-bound team with a minor problem... their star player Greg Downing has disappeared. I found this book to be a real page turner. And, after all, isn't that what you want in a mystery? So, maybe I should give it the fifth star. But, there were so many improbable twists and turns that I kind of felt betrayed by the final one. Almost like the author was showing off so I'd know how clever he could be. Still, the writing is good enough that I plan to read another Coben book. And, if you like crime mysteries at all, you might be pleased if you read this book or another of his works. He clearly has big league writing talent.

Clever writer. Knows how to keep us on our toes and keep our attention. Not sure about his series, have not read those. I hope they are as good as this one and Gone for Good.

I lucked up on this series. I'm very please so far of what I have read,in Harlen Coben. I have other books of his in the Myron Boiltar series, and look forward to reading them all. I would suggest this to anyone who just wants and good and fast moving read, you will truly enjoy it.

I love, love, love Harlen Coben's books/writing. The Myron series is just the best and I look forward to him returning them to paper. You won't be disappointed in this, or the other reads. From the first paragraph to the last, it is a page turner. And the humor that comes from Myron and his co-stars is just icing on the cake.
