This is an amazing read, I couldn't put it down. I now feel that I actually KNOW Paul, Peter, and all of the TRUE apostles in a personal way. To then read Pagan Christianity as a follow on has been enlightening to say the least. I thought I understood more than I did but am now delighted to feel so much more properly informed, with better understanding about the letters written, when and why. I fully reccomend it.

The book helped me in deepening my convictions about not being pressured to "follow the leader". As a result, I have greater peace in my relationship with the Lord. I resolve to look into the scriptures for myself, not let someone else tell me what they say, nor let them define my relationship with my Lord. On the down side, I felt I paid too much for it. I noticed all the books of this title and author were overpriced. (The book is only 100 pages long.)

If this book doesn't convince you that you need to understand what God's will and eternal purpose is, nothing will. I would say this is one of the best discussions on what God is really doing today.. actually, what He started before there was ever space and time and is continuing to do today. If you want Christ to be central in your life and if you want to be working with Him as His purpose is worked out and is being accomplished in this hour, then this book is for you. God's Ultimate Passion is full of revelation, hope and encouragement... it will cause you to see God's Passion.

I was so moved by this book that I contacted the author. Although I haven't yet agreed with 100% of his views, I can say without reservation that Frank Viola has written the most balanced book regarding God's purpose and direction for the church that I have read. If you are considering any book regarding the 'house church' I highly recommend this book.
