I usually hate anthologies because they usually lack good plots. This one was better than most I've read, but it still wasn't a five star read. I liked Nalini Singh's story the most. Erin McCarthy's was ok. The best thing in it was the hero. I usually like Linda Winstead Jones, but I found myself skimming through her story. I'm not a huge Lora Leigh fan because I think that most of the time in her books, I feel like I'm reading a script for a porno movie. And that is just not my thing. This one was okay, but still how anyone can like the whole "barb" aspect of her Breed series is beyond me. What is so romantic about that? Getting off my soap box now, overall the book was a four star read.

What a yummy cover. I expected this book to be a fun, hot little number, but it was just so much more. Flat-Out Sexy is a modern day fairy tale and Elec is a modern day Prince Charming! Elec and Tamara are two very likable characters, who you find yourself cheering for their HEA, while some complications are thought through by Tamara. While the escapades are very, very hot (satisfaction guaranteed), this story is relationship driven and all the characters involved you come to care for. This is book one in a Racing Series, all I can say is that I hope it's the beginning of a 12 book series! The next book in the series is Hard and Fast. Once again, just as with "The Magical Christmas Cat", I mainly bought the book for Nalini Singh's story. I was not disappointed. And even the other stories were quite good. If you are looking for a way to incorporate other authors into your TBR pile, this book would be a great start.

I read some of these stories while traveling. Just the right length & they're not terribly silly.

Jack is investigating Jamie's office for computer fraud. He knows that Jamie would never be involved with the stealing because Jamie is his sisters roommate. He decides to follow her and do some investigating until they accidental meeting on the subway. Meanwhile Jamie psychic told her she would meet her soul mate in food accident... Lot of sexual moments, light story. The first of book of this series was The Pregnancy Test- (Mandy Keeling and Damien Sharpton) and on her website she said that planned to write a whole series but due to a change in publishers Allison and Caroline story have be put on hold.

Had I seen the saucy mass-paperback cover of this book, I probably would not have bought it. The one I bought was the larger paperback that had a more generic cover and it seemed like it might be interesting. A little mystery, a little romance. I had read Bit the Jackpot by his author and liked it, so I thought I would give it a shot. So glad I did. What a wonderful story and with great characters. What I liked about this book is that it focused on about a half a dozen characters that were developed very well and very believable. Laurel is a strong character and also happens to be deaf. Never viewed as a disability but the author does a great job of exploring some of the things that come with being deaf, but also trying to find her place in life. Wow, I don't think I've ever read a book that had this much steamy sex before. The two main characters, Derek & Reece, have sexual chemistry out the wazoo and as the reader, you get to read all about it! As long as you enjoy this type of contemporary romance, than you will be good to go. Just be prepared for some serious racy romance and some laugh out loud humor.

Are you looking for a sexy, nasty, funny, cant put it down, great storyline read? Then you have found it! Excellent, loved this book.

Oh, is this a fun book. The cover is a tad misleading--as far as I can tell, none of the vampires in High Stakes turns into a bat--but it's eyecatching, and it does let you know that this is a comedy. Prosecuting attorney Alexis Baldizzi is understandably alarmed when her dentist sister Brittany leaves her practice and moves into Ethan Carrick's casino. So, in true protective big sister fashion, she rides to the rescue. Turns out that Carrick is a vampire--the vampire president, in fact, and he's running for election. Brittany, as an "impure" (offspring of a vampire and a mortal--she and Alexis have different fathers), will help him cinch the election once he marries her.
