It's a little too much "windows like". It lacks some entertaining slides / new & interesting explanations. I was expecting more from this official release. Maybe am I too mac-addicted?

Product seems better than Microsoft Office 2003. Amazon really impressed me because I never received the first shipment and they sent a second one out without question. That is very rare for a company in this day and age. As usual, Amazon keeps me happy. I'm so glad I did not buy this product from someone else.

I started a new job in the spring. I am using Excel more than I ever had. This books has given me a great deal of understanding as I learn about the changes in 2003 Excel. This book has taught me a great deal in a format that makes it easy to learn. I recomend this book for people who have some knowledge of these programs, but need to know some finer details.

This book is very helpful, I keep it at work, and disc that came with it is simple to use.

I have to say that this is not the book for someone wanting to run an administrative database for a 50k-employee company, but it IS a great book to freshen up on Access 2007. It comes with practice files to work on (if you are working cover-to-cover) and it is perfectly feasible to just go to the index and find the specific information you need. Good book :)

I will never purchase anything from this vendor again as I never recieved the item and I've tried contacting them via email and still have not gotten a response from them a month later regarding this item. I've had to reorder the item from another vendor and hope that I get my purchase. This is the first time this has happened with a purchase from amazon, so I know that it's not the site fault but the vendors. Sincerely, Deidre Gregory

I use a book like this mainly for reference on specific points. The index is so defective, however, that the book is almost entirely worthless. (Try looking up "Shared Workspace task pane", for example)
