Jim Cramer's latest book is an excellent departure from his previous two investment books. His first two books were focused on the individual stock trader. While I enjoyed those books and highly recommend them, his latest book provides invaluable information that must be passed on to the young investor.

If you are trying to make a tough choice on what one investment book to give to a person looking to get themselves to retirement eventually and to save and make money all along the way, then this is your book. His simple advice to budget plan and which retirement routes are best for different ages puts this book over the top. If you are a parent buying this book then make sure your kid reads it too.

The more we can pass Jim Cramer's long term advice to young ... Read More

Season 8 continues with a sizeable story about Faith and Giles, which were two of my favorite Buffy characters. In some ways, I enjoyed Faith's character development on Angel more than I did on Buffy, as she became as tormented as Angel about who she is and what she is to become. This story takes us up to date with her and both her self-doubt and everyone else's doubt about who she is and whose side she fights on.
We also get up to date on the strange occurences with Dawn and why she is giant sized while we dig deeper into Willows memories of Tara and how she is trying to protect Kennedy from the same fate.
While these stories are not as drawn out and detailed as the tv series was, it is a good fix and really does allow you to be drawn into Buffy's world once again. The characters ... Read More

Some have said that a New York accent is the most effective method of birth control known to man. If that is true, listening to Jim Cramer may be in the second slot. It has all the appeal of a fingernail scratching a blackboard ...

It could alternatively be titled, "Jim Cramer's Mad Money: Listen to it, Get Annoyed" I listened to the entire book on CD and IT FEELS LIKE CRAMER IS CONSTANTLY YELLING AT YOU!!!!!!

This is an exceptionally hard book to review. I think Kirkman is extremely talented and I think Walking Dead is one of the best comics on the market these days (it's by far Image's best, for sure). And Kirkman is certainly bold - he never shies away from doing what he thinks needs to be done, even if that means some pretty horrific or gut-wrenching action. That kind of thing has generally served him very well on Walking Dead.

But I wonder if there's a bridge too far, if perhaps there comes a point where what you do is only done for the sheer shock value of it. I'm honestly not sure, which is what makes this so difficult for me, and it's made more difficult by the fact that explaining the plot clearly would utterly ruin the experience. It's enough to say that the status quo is changed ... Read More

5.The Weather of the Pacific Northwest by: Cliff Mass

As a Northwest transplant, I've always wondered why the storms out here are so very different from those in the midwest. Mass explains all of this in an accessible, easy to understand way. The illustrations are gorgeous, and the full-color graphics help the reader under the mechanics and movement of weather. I love the discussion of the historical floods (including the whopper in December 2006 that felt of hurricane intensity) and the chapter on how to "forecast" the weather on your own. This is a truly great weather and climate book -- straightforward yet complex, sober in its science yet exciting in its practical immediacy. I've already bought an extra copy for a friend for Christmas who is a committed weather buff.

At Last a graphic novel that has high quality art and story. Gory, Gutsy and balck and white but dont let any of that put you off. Intelligently written, interesting characters and an ongoing story line with incendiary sub plots to keep the reader entertained. The books are very cinematic and would make an exciting, alternative TV series. Printed on high quality stock in hard cover with original colour cover art work included, at a very reasonable price. A zombie book adults will not be ashamed to own. Walk with a Zombie today.

Books : The Warrior Elite : The Forging of Seal Class 228
I thought that I knew alot about the Navy SEALS and their training, but boy was I wrong. Dick Couch did a great job at taking us from day one at Indoc of 114 gung-ho soldiers, down to the last remaining 20 that actually made it through and were secured by the BUD/S staff. This was a quick read, mostly because i refused to put it down. I felt like I was in there with the soldiers, sweating and painfully progressing through grinder PT, the O-course, Hellweek, tests, and evolutions. If you are even remotely thinking of trying out for SEAL training, than this is definately required reading. Although, even if your not, its still a great book if your interested in reading about what some of our elite soldiers must go through everyday just to call themselves "elite". Hollywood has it all wrong, and you'll quickly see that ... Read More

Ok, so you've read Kirkman. Walking Dead? Invincible? Yah,I get it. Me too. But I specifically am an Undead fan. So I bought this book. I won't say anything about it BUT that this will turn your little zombie universe upside down. So stop pretending like you are reading this and just buy the damn book. You'll thank me, I know.
