I thought this book has a interesting story line. This one was deal with the hellfire's club. As soon as I heard that name I thought I was going to see the Phoniex but it wasn't about that. It was about re-establishing the hellfire's club and x-23's rescue attempt happens to lead up to it, and the x-men have to take down the hellfire's club once again before it is established again. I was introduce to the character Sage which I have not had the pleasure before. First heard of this character from a Spiderman game (Gameboy Advance). I got to see Emma Frost (or White Witch as she is called in the hellfire's club) in action. So it makes for a good read

This book comes from a nondenominational view in my opinion. The writer and his writings seem to come from the Jesus Movement of the 60/70's (of which I was a part). It has a much needed approach in that it starts with looking at yourself as a Worship Leader first. That's refreshing.

Personally, I really didn't like TOMB RAIDER's first story arc. Thankfully, after those 4 issues everything changed for the better. The artwork is still absolutly beautiful, but the plot and characters have greatly improved. Unfortunatly, they don't reach the greatness of the issues that follow this collection. If you enjoyed the first collction, then you'll love this one. If you didn't like the first one, then give this one a chance (it's much better). The next collection is even better

I used to love this comic series. For a while, it was the only comic I read. Looking back, it's hard to tell what was so enthralling about it. The plots were unimaginative and preidictable, and the books themselves were way too short. Seriously, each took about three minutes to read. This was all very irritating, but I still kept buying the books. Andy Park's spectacular art made it worthwhile. I lost interest in the series soon after Mr. Park stopped doing the pencil work for it. "Saga of the Medusa Mask" collects the first story arc of the Tomb Raider series. If you're interested in the series, this is a good place to start. Although you shouldn't expect too much, this IS a damn good comic when you consider that it's based on a video game!

I have all 5 volumes of this series, and none have disappointed me. Minor point that it's drawn in black & white, but the graphics is really awesome, otherwise. I would highly recommend this product - and the other 4 earlier volumes.

Even though they didn't faithfully reproduce Angelina Jolie's lovely face when they produced these graphic novels, they certainly didn't go wrong when they drew her body !! This collection is certainly great eye candy for male readers, and the stories are pretty interesting too. The writing is halfway decent, although a few entries could have used rewriting. All in all, well worth the read for those who like graphic novel adventures, along with an occasional long glance at some beautiful torso shots. Try to pick up this compendium at a reasonable price, though. The 80-120 dollar range is way too much to pay for this. I got mine for 30 dollars plus shipping and (hint hint) it wasn't bought on the amazon.com site.
