Yes.....from the time I smelled Ralph Lauren's Safari, it became my favorite fragrance. It broke my heart when I was told it was discontinued. But hey, why keep the men's fragrance around and discontinue the women's fragrance. The men's Safari is still being sold. Sometimes I think they will bring the women's Safari back just for the holidays, but I haven't seen it around.

I bought this scent in a sample box from Sephora. It has a very strong undertone that reminds me of bug spray in the 70's ("OFF!", I think). I noticed that several of my perfume samples have the very same fragrance note so it must be popular now (it might be the patchouli or sandalwood??? although I usually like those). Whatever the note, it is a very strong spicy/woody smell that doesn't work with my chemistry or my nose. I only used a very small touch of the stuff since it was new & I didn't know how strong it would be. I didn't like it much in the bottle but I must say that when I first applied the scent I loved the initial dry-down which was very soft & powdery. But then that woodiness was RIGHT THERE & just too strong.

When we were in Hawaii, we fell in love with the Plumeria flower. It's so fragrant. But all the perfume stores and markets tried to immitate the smell just did not do it justice. My friend found one on the Air Force Base BX store and it's the same brand as this. It's the closest, best smelling perfume without smelling cheap and fake! I loved it so much, I just sent some to my mom for her birthday. She's been missing the smell of the plumeria since she used to live in HI when I was little!

Ralph Lauren Romance is a very romantic sensuous fragrance. I receive many compliments when I wear it. Not too strong. Not too light. As I said in other reviews -Great price!!!!!!

This is a very sophisticated fragrance, it is soft, sweet and lady like, but not to flowery. This is a very dressed up fragrance and a great perfume to wear when you would like to give the air of classic chic.

This is a good product for ladies who like to smell fresh all day. Just a spritz or two will do it. I like it a lot and its a good everyday type fragrance. Save the heavy stuff for the evenings.

I disagree with the people who called this "floor cleaner" smell.In Fact, ignore that type of a comment on any scent. First off, it probably does not mix with your personal scent very well--hence it comes off smelling offensive to you. Cologenes and Perfumes mix with your own personal scent to "create" another scent. Go on-line and learn about the different families of scents and how to find the family that works with your body. I cannot wear anything that has a totally flowery or fruity scent to it due to my personal scent chemistry. And I find that 90% of the new-modern cologenes to smell very "Chemical" and lack character on me. On another women--they would be just fine. And while I would not expect a young women to like this scent, I have been wearing it since I was 16--I'm 55. ... Read More
