Beauty : Au Chocolat Nail Polish

I saw this nail polish in a magazine and was drawn to the cool dark green color. This is my first time using this brand but it goes on smooth and tries shiny which is how I like it. The color looks like the bottle but surprisingly seems to be quite neutral. At least on my toenails! I definately think this product is worth it if you like the color. I dont think I would spend the almost $20 a bottle for a more basic shade.

Beauty : BriteSmile Toothpaste - 4.2 oz

I have been using Brite Smile for over 8 years and love it. It really does make a difference in the brightening of my smile. As a model and an actor this is very important to me. I haven't found any other toothpaste that has done as good a job as Brite Smile.

ERA Face Foundation is the best! I just wish I could afford it - ha! I use it only on special occasions. It goes on like a dream - velvety smooth like buttah. And it disappears into the skin without any trouble. I'd buy it again. In fact if everyone bought this product maybe, just maybe they'd reduce the price?! Or at least offer free shipping.

This unique, gun metal blue nail polish by Essie which IS actually called, "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" was designed by 80's rocker Pat Benatar herself! The color is not a tacky blue; it's pure sophisticated glamour. If you are looking for an unusual but classy shade, this one is for you!

I'm a 52 year old Latina with medium brown skin. I read the reviews and decided to try the product after finding that Bobbi Brown makeup does not seem to be doing the job for me. I've been using BB for about 5 years. I have somewhat dry skin (with age) and dark pigmentation spots around my cheeks. My skin tends to look sallow after a few hours and I was looking for something to smooth it out and perk it up. Well, I found it!! I bought "some Kind of Gorgeous-deep", the "Get even" powder in 3 and erase paste in 3. The erase paste is pinkish and too dark for my skin so I'm replacing it with the #2. However, since using the makeup (for 5 days now), I have to say my skin is smooth and soft and still looks bright and flawless at the end of the day (8 hours) when I'm dragging!! I am serious! I've ... Read More

Beauty : Tinted Moisturizer Oil-Free - Almond

I have a minimal make up routine but this has been a must for 3 years now. Initially I hesitated at the price, but it's worth it. It offers a sheer coverage that evens out my completion in a way that looks natural. It can also be layered for extra coverage when there's a breakout.

During summer months, I use this as my primary moisturizer and in winter I apply a lightweight, oil free moisturizer (Dermalogica Active Moist) several minutes before this because it doesn't seem to have enough effectiveness for my dryish, winter skin.

If you like a minimal, clean and even look - this is worth the price.

OK, so I know from the name that this kind of seems more geared towards little girls. That's probably true. This strikes me as play-polish - it doesn't cover well with one coat, and the glitter in the top coat end is huge compared to what I was expecting. While it is convenient that both bottles are on one central wand, this is still probably something tweens who are just getting into polish would like, but not for most adults.

Let me state up front that I hate, and I mean HATE, mint toothpaste. This revulsion has sent me on a mostly fruitless (no pun intended) search for alternate flavors with which to freshen my mouth. The various selections from the natural food store all pretty much taste like chalk that saw fruit once in its' life and the Crest lemony variety still gives me a mint thing.Yuck.

My sis is the queen of funky beauty products and is constantly on the lookout for something with which I can stand to brush my teeth. She recently slipped me a trial tube of GoSmile's Gingerbread Cookie Smile...eh. The spicy taste was nice, but it had a sort of sludgy aftertaste that didn't feel all that fresh. Still, it wasn't mint! Then she popped a tube of Breath Palette #14 Indo Curry in my stocking yesterday...WOW! ... Read More
