I've used the "mythic" for longer than a year, and I'm still just on my second box so it lasts a long, long time.....and I use it every day. This is the only powder that I will now use. Its very light, stays on all day, imparts a beautiful finish to your makeup with just a hint of a sparkle if you catch light a certain way. It is pricey, but like I said before, it lasts a really long time. I am going to try the "beige" next because I think I want a little more coverage than just translucent. But I'm 53 and my face needs a little more coverage.

I bought this recently at a Sephora store. I would have never picked out something "hydrating" myself since I still have occasional breakouts. But the clerk said it was oil free and blended well. She was right. I love the finish and the color is an absolutely perfect match. I've tried about every possible foundation out there (most recently Philosophy and Clinique Supermakeup) but this makes my skin look better than anything else. And the price is right!

I am 52 with lines and horrid red bumps and discoloration from rosacea. The doc told me to only use mineral makeup, which did not look attractive on me. I tried this makeup and it not only covered the redness without any primer, it also is buildable for bad areas (worst sections only took 2 thin layers), it looks natural, and seemed to "youthenize" my lines and wrinkles. I like it very much. I am also trying some other Laura Mercier products now, and something is burning my eyes. But, unlike most foundations and even mineral products, it is not the foundation! GREAT find.

I'd been using the Smashbox Photo Finish in clear for a couple of years before I discovered the green tinted version. I really enjoyed the former because it helped my makeup glide on easily and helped prevent the creases I often saw in areas like my 'smile lines' after wearing foundation all day. I tried the green tinted version for the first time when, as a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding, a makeup artist prepared us for the big day. I've long dealt with redness on my cheeks and often, all over, and was impressed with how well this reduced the pink hue in my face. This is truly the best foundation I have found thus far. Consistency and coverage is near perfect. I have freckles and sun spots and this covers without feeling or looking heavy. I have had many compliments on my skin while wearing it. I use organic products almost exclusively, but I make an acception for this foundation. Note: Make sure you apply in a downward motion.
