I have loved using these pads; they are so soothing and cool. And I just reverse them (flip them over) if they start to become less cool after sitting on my eyes for a while. They look cool too! I keep them in the fridge. They would make a great gift.

I also disagree with the user that says its not for sensitive skin. My skin is extremely sensitive, and I have had excellent results with Musgo Real. I prefer the smell of 'Proraso' but Musgo Real works better for me (mind you those are the only two quality shave creams I have tried). Because I am prone to nicks, it takes me a very long time to shave since I shave very carefully; other creams can sometimes dry out on my face during this time, but Musgo Real has not dried out on me to date. To open the tube pierce the top with the pointy thing on the cap, be careful not to squeeze the tube while doing this or you might lose some product. I used to buy the Vic at Caswell Massey Pharmacy on Lexington Avenue in New York City soooo many years ago. I've never found them anywhere else but, I still have half a dozen washcloths that I bought in the early 90s. Yep, they have survived countless washings and dryings! Though, they still do a good job they're somewhat thin, so I must start stocking up soon. Ofcourse, the price is higher now (They were $1.50 each when I discovered them in the 70s)! They're really a great investment for your skin care. I much prefer the Vic to a buff puff or scrubbing grains as it exfoliates beautifully without irritating my skin. These cloths also smooth out rough spots like knees, elbows and those pesky little bumps on the upper arms. I highly recommend them to everyone.

The scent is strong, but not in the bad way. It lasts for a good 4-6 hours, and came in a very large bottle (well to my perfume standards at least). I suggest buying three or four of these, lily of the valley perfumes are ridiculously hard to find.

and that's the problem. If you love the scent of sandalwood, I wouldn't recommend this soap. The soap is laced with other fragrances that ruined it for me, and is so overpowering, that in spite of the price of the soap, I, who am pretty frugal, ended up putting what was left in the box in the Goodwill bag. No doubt many people will like this overbearing fragrance, but I, who love the fragrance of sandalwood, did not. Otherwise, as a soap, it functioned satisfactorily. P.s., I'm female, which may account for my review vs. that of the previous reviewer.

George Washington must have smelled pretty good in his day. This has a light, clean citrus smell. The scent is long lasting, but not overpowering. Equally important, the talcum helps absorb sweat making one appear and feel cool and confident. This is perfect for the politician campaigning in the summer heat.
