I bought this shampoo and conditioner because I wanted a natural product. I used it for one week and it completely dried out my hair. I normally have very shiny healthy hair that is not treated in any way and I use no product on it at all. It's been a month since I stopped using it and my hair still hasn't recovered completely.

I live in the Northeast and I have used this product for a while. I use it especially during the winter months when it is much too cold and damaging to the hair to shampoo everyday. I just love how it makes my hair look! I would recommend this product.

I personally love all the Aveda products and highly recommend any of them. But save your money and go directly to Aveda's website. Buy it from them and you'll definitely spend a lot less (and they offer free shipping for $50+ orders). Or save on the shipping altogther and find an Aveda salon in your local area and buy it from them. There's a locator guide on their website. They typically charge the same as the corporate website.

I've gone through 3 bottles of this stuff so far. It reduces frizz and doesn't leave any residue in my hair. A little expensive but I will continue to purchase mainly because the company is environmentally responsible.

I have naturally curly hair that, oddly enough, I cannot diffuse because it becomes frizzy! Soooo, after towel-drying, I use an organic leave-in conditioner to detangle and allow me to brush easily(the Giovanni brand is affordable, available at my grocery store and works well, but I also use Elixir) followed by Be Curly mixed with the Confixor Liquid Gel. I mix about dime size of each in my palm and run through my hair. Then, I sprunch my hair with a towel to bring out bouncy curls and blow-dry only the roots of my hair, allowing the rest to dry naturally. I like to finish it with Pure Abundance Volumizing Spray, but sometimes use Giovanni's spray as it's half the cost. I really love this shampoo & conditioner. I used to use Biolage to combat the damage my city's hard water was doing to my hair, but since I started using Aveda, my hair has been much softer and has 100% more shine. The Color Conserve has been wonderful and my color stays true; I also use the Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother to fight frizz caused by humidity. The only con to these Aveda products is the price, but the results are worth it.

This product is fantastic. When my husband and I moved to the UK I was using another Aveda product. The water in London is very hard and was doing so much damage to my hair (it was drying out so quickly!). When the Aveda store recommended Smooth Infusion I decided to go for it. My hair is thick and straight. My husbands is thick and curly. Both of us love this product. My hair is SO soft I can't stop touching it. I love it!
