This product is a disaster. It's like painting your lips with gooey, old, congealed oil paint! The colors...oh my gosh! They are atrocious! Glosses tend to be a little lighter, a little transparent...these are brash and bizarre. The honey, paints on and transforms your lips to look like you just kissed a freshly painted BEIGE wall. It's awful. I've salvaged my purchases by blending some of the colors, garish bright berry colors with dreadful dull browns, mix to create a more palatable shade and then I top with C.O Bigelow menthol lip shine to make it look like it's a gloss. A lot of work to try and salvage the money I spent on these. I don't know how or why anyone who wears makeup of even the remotest quality could recommend a product like this. It's just awful!

I like creating flawless look though people may recognize that I do have foundation on. This product gives me a nice dewy base for a power foundation (Shiseido) I put on after. I used to use heavier cream foundation that costs over $100 for that perfect sheen look, but now feels completely light but perfectly even. I definitely would buy Laura Mercier Mineral Power to match with this product next.

I agree with the ladies that say it smooths your skin, my makeup does look good at a distance. But close up in the mirror if I scrunch my face up I get a lot of fine lines in the area that I have applied the product which weren't there before and after a few hours my face starts to feel tight and dry. So only gave it 2 stars.

I have a minimal make up routine but this has been a must for 3 years now. Initially I hesitated at the price, but it's worth it. It offers a sheer coverage that evens out my completion in a way that looks natural. It can also be layered for extra coverage when there's a breakout. During summer months, I use this as my primary moisturizer and in winter I apply a lightweight, oil free moisturizer (Dermalogica Active Moist) several minutes before this because it doesn't seem to have enough effectiveness for my dryish, winter skin. If you like a minimal, clean and even look - this is worth the price.

ERA Face Foundation is the best! I just wish I could afford it - ha! I use it only on special occasions. It goes on like a dream - velvety smooth like buttah. And it disappears into the skin without any trouble. I'd buy it again. In fact if everyone bought this product maybe, just maybe they'd reduce the price?! Or at least offer free shipping.

This is an excellent product, I used to be a huge fan of the Lancome liquid eyeliner, but it is so expensive, and doesn't last too long. I tend to use an eyeliner almost every day, and this one is just beautiful. It goes on super smooth and stays put perfectly. I also like the brush that they have on the tip and it is one of the best brushes I've ever used for lining my lids, it is extremely precision pointed, and comes off in with just water easily. One thing I noticed is that with the Lancome eyeliner it would take a few swipes of make up remover to get it all off. This one comes off in a flash, which saves me time after along day or night. I absolutely love it. Plus look at the price! You cannot beat it, this is worth so much more then what you pay.

I am 52 with lines and horrid red bumps and discoloration from rosacea. The doc told me to only use mineral makeup, which did not look attractive on me. I tried this makeup and it not only covered the redness without any primer, it also is buildable for bad areas (worst sections only took 2 thin layers), it looks natural, and seemed to "youthenize" my lines and wrinkles. I like it very much. I am also trying some other Laura Mercier products now, and something is burning my eyes. But, unlike most foundations and even mineral products, it is not the foundation! GREAT find.

I am a pretty big primer fan, so I have tried everything from Dior, Philosophy, to Lancome, etc. and this is by far the best! At first I was hesitant because I haven't been a huge fan of smashbox for a long time (besides their brow tech!), but I tried it as soon as I heard about it and it's REALLY THE BEST. The texture is unlike any primer I have ever used, which is usually a bit thick and smells funny. There is absolutely no fragrance to the clear one (i'm not sure about the color correctors) and it goes on so smooth that is really feels like it could be a moisturizer instead of a primer! You also only have to wait around 1 minute before applying makeup, unlike other primers where you have to wait 10 min. or else your makeup gets cakey.
