I started with these products for my daughter who has curly hair and they are outstanding. I have straight hair and the botanical boost is wonderful for my hair as well, you can use it through out the day and never get that "oily" look. It is THE BEST detangler I have found for my daughters hair and I have given away bottles to her classemates to try as well. I would have given it 5 stars except that on amazon it is 17.60 and not eligible for prime shipping so you pay shipping on top of that price. If you go directly to the quidad website it is 16.00 a bottle or less for a four pack, plus shipping so you save especially if you end up buying on a regular basis like I do. Well I recently had my haircut by a Ouidad Stylist and she suggested this gel. I will tell you it is VERY expensive. But, so far worth it. This by far beats everything that I have underneath my bathroom sink. I normally would not spend this much on a hair product, but this is the first time in a long time that I don't feel the need to straighten my hair to make it look presentable. I have long, thick, naturally curly, color-treated hair, and Tsubaki shampoo and conditioner was great for my hair. My hairdresser introduced it to me, and she didn't need to use any type of hair product after using the shampoo and conditioner before blow-drying my hair. My hair turned out soft, shiny and very manageable. It would probably not work so well on naturally oily, thin hair, but for my hair type, it was amazing and I would highly recommend it.

I have very long, straight, fairly thick hair. It's naturally light brown, but I've been highlighting it heavily for years, and the ends have recently become extremely dry and difficult to manage. The underneath part that lies against the back of my neck is especially difficult and, after combing, retangles itself within minutes.
