I'm not a big self tanner to begin with, but I purchased this product to use as an alternative of sitting out in the sun. While it does give you a VERY natural looking tan, it does come at a price. First, don't apply this in the morning thinking you can just go out about your business an hour later. This stuff is incredibly sticky and also goes on very, very dark. In time it fades to its natural color but that won't happen until the next day, so don't apply this if you have something going on later that night. Secondly, also a plus and a minus, one coat is all you need. No multiple applications are required and I was amazed at how tan my skin was the next day. However, this also comes at a price. I'm from Florida where the sun is brutal. My doctor suggested this. When you first put it on it tints like a mask, but it dries clear and gives your face a glow. No base makeup is required. I sometimes just put some powder over my cheeks and nose to get rid of some of the shine. I get compliments about how good my skin looks. Love this product.

I have used the Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat, but it was backordered so I thought I would try the Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen. I was sorely disappointed. Yes, The Dior comes out of the pen looking pink, just like the YSL, but unlike the Touche Eclat, it doesn't cover anything!! My dark circles were still dark, and it didn't brighten the undereye area at all. Also, if applied over makeup later in the day, it just sits on top, and shows lines and creases. The Touce Eclat blends, brightens and hides undereye imperfections whether applied on a fresh face in the a.m. or as a touch up later in the day over existing makeup.

There are very few makeup products that I would bother reviewing, simply because my skin reacts differently with the product after a few months, I get bored with the colors or makeup type, etc. However, this is the first product that I not only loved the instant I got it - but still loved after reordering and using the second bottle! MD Skincare All-In-One Tinted Moisturizer makes life a lot easier for me (a mom of an 11-month old with one on the way!). I don't have much time in the morning to put on a huge amount of makeup, so All-In-One type makeups are the best.
