Never ever put any alcohol based (exception is fatty alcohols) products on your skin unless you are in a medical setting! Alcohol not only strips the skin of moisture, but it is so bad that it wrecks the skincells structure and can't repair itself. Alcohol makes skin dull, flaky, irritated, and can exacerbate acneic skin. I cannot believe that the 'clarifying' lotions are still around.

I have tried everything, lots of stuff isn't worth 2 cents and then there's Clinique Pore Refining Lotion. This is a must in my daily routine, I even wear it when I am sleeping. How to use: Wash face, then apply after any serums that you may use, but before moisturizer with sunscreen, primer, concealor or foundation. DO NOT PUT TOO MUCH ON if you are planning on layering makeup on top of it, as it will make your makeup flake off your skin.
