Normally, I love Philosophy. I use the Purity cleanser every day. I have several of the 3-in-1s, and I use those to wash my hair, as they give me really great body. And I love their scents. But this . . . this reeks. I don't understand why they can have such lovely smelling products and then this, which is one of their flagship items. Even the foot lotion smells good. Hope in a Jar smells so bad I can't even use it. Some people were able to stick it out for a few days and wound up with a rash. I can't even wear it once, which might have saved me from some nasty discomfort in the end. So, good, I guess? Ugh. Other than that tenuous positive, I just cannot find a single saving "grace" (ha) for this product.

I love several of the philosophy fragrances so started trying their skin care line, including "hope in a jar" along with a few body lotions. While I do not have sensitive skin, 2 of 3 philosophy moisturizers made me break out in a bumpy rash within 2 days. I thought it was a fluke so months later I tried again with the same result. I've never had this problem with any other skin care products, even cheap drug store ones, so unfortunately will never spend money on philosophy skincare products again!

I purchased this in a Philosophy sample kit. I used it while on vacation because the bottles were small enough to get on the airplane with. During vacation it worked wonderfully but I was in a cold climate where I didn't sweat much. When I got home it quickly became inadequate for controlling my oil & acne. It wouldn't cut the oil on my face enough to wash it off :-( Which makes me sad because I liked it so much while on vacation I bought the HUGE bottle and now I can't use it..

I have to say that this is the first facial moisturizer that I have ever found to work for me! I have pale white skin, and therefore, anything with aloe or extra inserts as far as facial lotion goes makes my skin turn burning red. I do not believe that this has to be used with their 3 step line, because I tried their toner, and it made my skin over- dry and rashed. Their facial cleanser, I just didn't even bother with. This could truly work on its own as a facial moisturizer and you don't need to buy the other half of the kit for another $40+. This thinghy is so cool! I just wrote a review on another Zeno listing, but wanted to write one here too because I actually have the teal Zeno. Whatever color you get it in, Zeno works the same by keeping a consistent low heat that kills the zit! No washcloth can do that! No washcloth has ever gotten rid of my zit by the next day, with no scarring, peeling, etc. that are the result of many topicals. Zeno is definitely a "must have" beauty tool! Use it one day and the zit is gone the next! AMAZING!!! Definitely a product that is true to it's word! I guess that is why my dermatologist highly recommended it to me. I just wish I had tried it sooner!

I am pretty skeptical of "anti-aging" products, but after doing some research I decided to give this a try. I am only 27, but after working in smoky bars and getting my share of the sun, I have smile lines and little wrinkles around my eyes. I've been using this product for a couple of weeks now and I definitely see results. My smile lines have almost disappeared, and overall my skin looks younger. You do need to exercise caution and use this stuff SPARINGLY, otherwise your skin will be red and flaky for a day or two. I apply it do different areas of my face on alternating days and that seems to do the trick.

Thanks to an Aunt of mine, I have been using this moisturizing cream since 1960. Everyone has always given my skin raving reviews. Having just turned sixty, many of my friends thought that I was about forty-eight or forty nine years old. I just love this rich, creamy moisturizer & have never found any other cream that has the same consistency & can do the job. This moisturizer is simply wonderful! Please never let it be discontinued.

I love this stuff. My skin is a warzone: redness, flakiness, very oily at times, dry at others, pores you could park an SUV in, and sensitive. Eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis . . . you name it, I've had. But this stuff is wonderful. It's got a light woodsy, yet almost minty smell, does not dry my face out and leaves my skin super soft. It removes makeup well, even most mascaras (some mascaras I use do need a "headstart" with eye makeup remover, but this cleanser takes care of the rest). I get the small bottle [6 oz? 8 oz?] and it lasts a very long time, since a little goes a long way. The only thing I would ammend about this product is that I wish it was paraben-free since there's all this buzz about parabens being "sooooo" bad for you.
