I thought this would be better than my tried-and-true Revlon tool for removing skin bumps, but it does not work. Except, maybe, as a lemon zester? I think I'll sterilize it and put it in my kitchen drawer. Also, Tweezerman's guarantee is not customer friendly.

The powder smelled funny and I also noticed that my skin was red after I applied it. I don't have sensitive skin so this was unusual.

I have been licensed cosmotologist for about 15 years. I use this particular product myself. However, I picked mine up at a beauty supply store a few years ago for double the price here. So this is an excellent buy. If you use this as recommended, you will find that there is minimal damage to the skin. Less of a chance of inflaming the problem area, which makes for quicker healing. I would suggest though, if you have this item and are using it, please don't forget to sanitize it after each use. If you do not, then you are just transferring bacteria back onto the skin. I also think this should be given to every teenager so they are showed the correct way to extract those unsightly whiteheads and blackheads.

I bought this recently and I absolutely LOVE it. You just line up the circular part with pimple, apply light to moderate pressure, and the bad gunk comes right out! It is of course important that the pimple is ready to be popped, but this is so much better than doing it with your fingers. It is much easier since the tool applies the perfect amount of pressure to exactly the right place, and of course more sanitary since it's much easier to make sure that this tool is free of bacteria than it is your fingers. All in all, I strongly reccomend!

Both ends of item can be unscrewed, turned around, and screwed into the shaft such that the working ends are "retracted" into the handle -- safe for storage... but on mine, the threads weren't turned properly, and the lancet doesn't stay attached and the blackhead remover doesn't come unscrewed. The heft of the tool is nice, though... but the distribution of weight doesn't feel substantial or balanced. The opening on the blackhead remover isn't large enough to effectively surround my pores (yuck, I know... but we all know what this is for... ), so it sits in my cabinet waiting for the really tiny blackheads. Complete waste of money.

This is a very small brush, smaller than I expected it to be. I had purchased another brush from a different manufacturere but it proved to be too soft to get into the pores and clean thoroughly. This brush is very firm. I am a man. A woman might find this too firm for her skin. I thought that maybe it was too firm at first, but it softened up a little after a few days use. What good is a too-soft brush? It won't clean anything. The only minor complaint I have is that the top of the brush should be flatter so that you could lay it on it's base while it dries.
