this makeup is quite nice and can look subtle -- but I hate how messy it is !! The powders get everywhere and I have to clean up the sink over and over....not to mention that the product (and my money)is getting wasted. doesn't anyone else have this problem ? Plus I hate their makeup brushes. My brush sheds all over me and they arent very soft.

I used this as a blush and it was great! I have light to medium skin and the soft pink was just enough to give me a natural glow. It may seem a little pricey, but it lasts a really long time. I used it every day for over a year and still had a decent amount left. I would definitely buy this again! My only recommendation is to ditch the brush that comes with it. I just used a regular powder brush and got better results.

I use this product everyday, makeup or not. I usually apply (in little dots) to the upper part of my cheeks, inner eye area and eyebrow bone. I put the product on after my sheer liquid foundation. I find it works best after foundation, but only if you use liquid, rather than powdery (it can mess up the powdery foundation). I blend with a sponge then use powder and a brush all over to set my face for the day. I learned this from Carmindy on What Not To Wear (she has a newsletter too!) and I get compliments all the time on how pretty my face is and how I look just like I'm "glowing". I have fair skin, but always have a light tan in the summer and the High Beam looks even better. I usually go through 1 bottle a year, that's how long it lasts and it's never gotten clumpy or thick. I got this bronzer because so many people swore by it. The color is very natural I must say, and looks great at the time and also stays on all day. My complaint is every time I wore this the following day I had a big pimple even though I washed my face every time. I did my own test I'd wear it one day and each time the next day I had a pimple. Maybe its just my skin but I don't use it anymore. Bobbi Brown Bronzer is my choice now.

Nice packaging, but I can get the same thing a quarter of the price at my local drugstore. Did not work exceptional and I didn't look 5 lbs lighter as Mally boasts in her pamphlet! They should at least provide a brush....

Dallas really looks soooo natural, like I've been out in the sun for a bit. I have fair skin and bronzers have always been out of the question for me. This product really is like a blusher/bronzer combo though. I use a fat powder brush and apply to my cheeks, a bit to my eyelids, and a dab to my chin - everywhere the sun would ordinarily hit on my face. I love Dallas! It has made makeup so much easier and natural looking. The perfect Irish face compliments of Benefit: EYEBRIGHT (inside corners of eyes), HIGHBROW (on the browbones), SILK LIP PENCIL in POSH (with a bit of gloss for moisture), & DALLAS! I was a little skeptical about this product at first but I love the results I got with it. It very subtly gives your skin a healthy shimmer with just a touch of transparent color that appears would work on all skin tones. It does not clog pores either, which was a major concern for me. I also know how important it is for me to see honest reviews of real people who have tried the products that I am considering purchasing, so ladies, this is a winner. I like to use moon beam on my bare skin for a natural glow. Try it out for yourself though....

I've used the "mythic" for longer than a year, and I'm still just on my second box so it lasts a long, long time.....and I use it every day. This is the only powder that I will now use. Its very light, stays on all day, imparts a beautiful finish to your makeup with just a hint of a sparkle if you catch light a certain way. It is pricey, but like I said before, it lasts a really long time. I am going to try the "beige" next because I think I want a little more coverage than just translucent. But I'm 53 and my face needs a little more coverage.
