I read something quite awhile ago that recommended Skin So Soft for mosquitoes. The information/article stated that soldiers exposed to the elements used this product and with so much success that they were requesting relatives to send it to them regularly. I tried it and it didn't work nearly as well for me. I live in Florida which has mosquitoes as big as jets especially if you live by the water, so I knew this would be a big challenge for any product. I had high expectations for this product and was extremely disappointed. It also failed to repel many other bugs during my time outdoors. As far as mosquito repellant goes, experts recommend to using repellant with DEET for effectiveness. I was leery about buying this type of product online, since you can't smell or feel it. But I was very pleasantly surprised. The oil is amazingly fragrant, with a variety of soothing scents.
