Since my daughter is now 10 most of her baby item's/furniture that we purchased are all gone. Except for this. We bought this for her when she was almost 2 and 8+ years later she still has it. Given it doesnt go with her room decor she keeps it in her closet and stores what toys she has left and all her art supplies in and on it. It's very durable, no parts to lose, no hinges or heavy doors to get little fingers stuck in, no sharp edged to bump into. A great buy! I would recomend it to everyone!

This toy box can hold many toys because of the canopy-like top. I really like it. The only draw back and the reason it only got 4 stars, is that my son takes the door off. I don't know what they could do to fix that but I still recommend this one. It holds much more than the other toy boxes on the market and it is fairly cheap. Oh yeah! They have a matching Step 2 dresser/tool chest and race car bed. The best thing about the bed is that it takes a toddler mattress and then a twin mattress when your child is ready for it. I couldn't find any other car beds that took both size mattresses. Also, It is alot cheaper than the other car beds. I haven't put my son's car bed together yet but we have purchased it and we are waiting until he is 2 to put it in his room.

We bought this collection for Christmas (at the time, it was on sale from the Step2 site.) My two year old has gotten sick of some of his other Christmas presents, but he keeps coming back to this farm set. The play mat gives a nice large area to play on and he loves getting out all the little pieces and setting them up. The barn doors did give us a little trouble with falling off, but I fixed them up but inserting the ends of toothpicks into the holes for the door "stubs." Now the door fits snugly and that seems to have taken care of the problem. I really like the MainStreet system because there's such a variety of items to choose from. And since it's a little smaller scale than Little People's, it's easier to store!
