All I can say is WOW! Drilling HOLES into your cabinets is a scary proposition. But still, you have to be able to do some hazard control when you have a curious baby in your home. These locks are a great solution to both problems. I was able to install these in 5 minutes flat. This kit comes with what you need to start - 2 locks, a magenet key, and a key holder. This way you can test drive them before ordering more. I followed the directions exactly wiping the area with alcohol before applying the adhesive and allowing the adhesive to "cure" for 24 hours before use. Not bad for infants- will restrain them. Terrible for toddlers- too small and claustrophobic inside. Until they are rolling, it is possible that yours might sleep in it. Mine wouldn't.

I love these. I have had such a hard time finding a product that actually works for my cabinets that a child cannot open. I was able to use these on my kitchen and bathroom cabinets that have no knobs. They were even flexible enough to work with drawers. I bought this gate to go with an older model that I bought several years ago. I love these gates. I have a house with large openings to the living room, and these gates are a practical and attractive way to contain my toddler in this room. The white gates blend in with my walls. I've had people come over and not even notice them. They are very secure. The only problem I've had is that my son has gotten his knee stuck between the rails twice. Not fun. I would still recommend them.

Any type of these work well, really. I've yet to see either of my children pick them off. Though they are kind of hard to get off yourself when you get to get to the outlet.
