When my daughter was born, I searched high and low for this turtle, ignoring bad reviews on the internet. I wanted to see it myself, and finally found it at a kid's boutique when my daughter was a few months old. True, no one has a tall dresser in the middle of a room, which would be the most desired place for this product to sit for it to work as intended. Still, it could be placed on a high book case and the stars will light up the wall and be faint on the ceiling. Green and blue lights work best. Amber can hardly be seen. When the batteries went out, I bought some and discovered that the batteries that came with the turtle (included as a "TRY ME" advantage) had corroded. I am a college student and I needed a few extra hooks in my closet so I got the Command Utility Hooks. The greatest thing about these hooks is that they do not require drilling holes, and you can take them off fairly easily without damaging the surface. The hooks, however, can be a bit small depending on what they are used for. I used them on the doors of my closet. It is made of the synthetic stuff that looks like wood and, since it was fairly new and the surface was smooth and clean, I did not need to clean it with rubbing alcohol. I just wiped it with wet paper towel and let it dry for a few minutes. You just apply the adhesive strip on the back of the hook and push hard onto the surface you need it to be on for 30 seconds. Until Amazon manages to get everything packaged in frustration-free packaging, this little toy is a great thing. My favorite part is the bent scissors that let you cut the plastic close to the edge without getting your hand scratched up. This is a wonderful thing.

I'm a big Cooks Illustrated fan. Saw the review on America's Test Kitchen and jumped on this one. I own lots of overpriced underperforming kitchenware and gadgets. This thing does indeed perform. I have many different knives -- Forschner Fibrox, Henckels, etc...-- some pretty expensive. I have a $35 Henckels ceramic sharpener and a more expensive honing tool -- neither comes close to this simple device. I have sharpened all my knives with it and they are as close to razor sharp as they were when purchased. Gave this as a gift to a relative and will buy for others as the opportunity comes! For the price, it's a no-brainer.

Contrary to other reviewers, my tube of caulk was not hard. I used it and it worked well. I took the advice of other reviewers and masked both sides of the caulking line before caulking and I must say that it is the best way to do it. Without masking it is a less perfect-looking caulk job as I tried it once without masking. But, as most commercials seem to be the most perfect of hundreds of video takes, Xpress Seal Pro isn't nearly the "miracle-cure" of the caulking world that the commercials seem to indicate. It still takes a little common sense and general know-how. I recommend reading the reviews before purchasing anything. Two-thumbs up!

Very cheap metal, high strength steel would have been better, first time I used it the extractor side broke because it is made of cheap metal!

Verilux Natural Spectrum HappyLite Mini Ultra, Silver Bright light but not harsh. Great way to start the morning. Whether it really works or is just a placebo affect, I feel much less sluggish even after a couple of gloomy weather days if I use this while I eat breakfast.
