I was initially very pleased with the product and the wear. They are very comfortable and do a very good job of what they were intended for- compression. Throughout the day, they do a good job of actually staying all the way up to the knee. Be warned though...these socks are hand wash and line dry only. As someone who is in a combat zone, I wanted these socks to augment with my Converse combat boots and they do an outstanding job. This is really important as I don't have the greatest circulation in my lower legs (hereditary). Unfortunately, twelve hour shifts, seven days a week, amounts to very little off time to accomodate the hand washing and line drying. These are very comfortable and soft socks - they dry quite fast which was perfect for the trip I went on with them. One note is that leather shoes seem to dye these socks (I have leather inserts in my shoes which turned these black on the bottom which is not something that happens with cotton socks.)

I've got several pairs of ACORN fleece socks, and they are worth the price - they've lasted me several years. They are thick fleece, very soft and comfortable. The fact that the socks are made with seams, rather than as a tube, means that they have a very good fit. I mostly wear them around the house without shoes, or at night in bed (being female, I always have cold feet, fingers, and nose at night). My only wish is that ACORN made another version of these socks with little rubber grips - we have hardwood floors and stairs in our house, and with these socks, the combination is very slippery.
