I love how it fits. Short but not too much for those thigh-shy like me. Low on the waist, doesn't bother my belly. Feels light, cool, always dry, a hint stretchy so great to move in. No bulk at all, it falls straight from the hip. I ordered it along another one from a different make and I returned the other one. I'll have more in different colours. Size S fits a hip of 95 cm.

As far as style goes, these are a non competitor (see below). As far as function goes, they work. Deep pockets and features like the adjustable waist could go a long way on a hike or somthing, plus the quick dry feature. Let me add - Made In China. I take it they could poison me or perhaps randomly combust because of this fact, but so far none of the above. I got a small, which in most brands fits or is maybe a little smidge loose on me. These are huge. Not unlike if I tied a series of paper bags to my legs. The adjustible waist hardly helps. When I try to wear them low, the crotch is about 10 inches too long. I ordered these for my dd for dance and carefully checked the size charts. They were quite a bit smaller than I expected, although they fit her and she is happy with them. They are more like a boy-cut brief than truly a pair of shorts. I wish the description had included an inseam measurement.
