I LOVE these boots. I have very large calves and most boots do not fit around my calves. These boots are open all the way to the ankle and you can adjust how high you want them tied with the ribbons. One word of caution, these boots run HUGE I ordered a 9(which is my regular size) and they are probably too big, but they are so comfortable and I wore them all day during Thanksgiving and it didn't bother me too much. I definitely recommend ordering at least one size down. I believe that they are equal in quality to UGGS and half the price. I will either order another color of these boots or another model. I was extremely pleased with my purchase.

I've never been a big "shoe guy", but I love the old school Chuck Taylors. It's always been my favorite shoe and I always wear the black on black or the white on black Chucks. They aren't exactly the most comfortable shoes and definitely take some getting used to, but once I got used to wearing them I've been a loyal Chuck Taylor buyer ever since. Love this boot. I wear them all day with no problems. They give great height without pain, and I get a lot of compliments. I ordered black, and they're a good option for a funky, but not over-the-top, mid-calf boot. They ran 1/2 a size small for me too, so I can only wear very thin, dress socks or tights with these.

I have owned many pairs of privos over the years and have been a privo convert, but I was extremely disappointed in this pair. Privo is now skimping on their massage footbed. Previous pairs had thick cushioning that felt like walking on air - this pair is super thin in comparison and not at all the same comfort level. The message footbed is why I buy privos and this is my 2nd pair where I have noticed the skimping on the product. My two year old pair is still more comfortable than the two new pairs I just bought. These feel more like a slipper than a shoe I can count on! Shame on privo for cutting back on quality (but not the price!)
