Got them in black, size 9 which I thought would fit for my EURO size 39, but it didn't. Should have got size 8.5 or even 8. The nose is a bit longer that I thought, they better go with jeans and trousers rather than skirts, the short sweater dress should be ok too. Anyway, they are VERY COMFY, even despite the size problem. Although the heel is high you never feel it. Too much hassle exchanging or returning them as it is international delivery, so I kept them and am now looking for a proper insole. Very good for a cold rainy weather.

Great shoes when I first got them. Look nice, durable, easy slip off and slip on. Got compliments on the style. The top and front are made from soft leather, the sides and back look like payless generic leather dress shoes. Cushioning is adequate but your feet will hurt if you try to walk more than a few hundred feet. The first thing that goes is the inside cushion for the shoe. Just get some Dr. Scholls or something that takes its place. After using it 3-4 times a week, I would say this shoe will last you about 6 months before it becomes too uncomfortable to wear.

Great sneakers. I'm an avid runner and these are the first pair of sneakers that haven't given me blisters in the breaking in phase. I'm in love!!! the toe box seems more roomy than other sneakers I've bought But these are my first pair of NB so maybe it's the nature of these sneakers to have long toe boxes?

I ordered three pair of these in the correct size but every shoe felt hard and uncomfortable. My feet and toes are neither fat nor pudgy, yet after wearing a shoe for several hours I removed it and found a pronounced curved red indention along the top of the foot despite being mostly seated at a computer while wearing it. Doubtful that I can break in these skimmers without sacrificing my feet, I've decided to return them promptly. The three pair I ordered (natural animal print, silver/white, and gold/brown) were Gold Box deals, but at a young age I learned that an uncomfortable shoe is not worth any discounted price.

I have owned many shoes in my lifetime, and not one pair came even close to my birks. They are beyond comfortable, but they had to be thrown out due to wear and tear. I wore these shoes, literally, every week day for an entire school year. I went to a catholic school and we had to wear black shoes, and my feet are kind of big. Bostons came in my size and they are comfy, so I was sold. I am now becoming a teacher and my birks are long gone, but I am getting a second pair soon.
