I had been looking for the perfect camel color boots and thank GOD I finally found them! These boots are super cute and every time I wear them someone always comments on how much they love them. Camel goes with pretty much anything so you definitely get your moneys worth! If you haven't bought Jessica Simpson shoes before...then you should know they run more on the narrow side...so if your feet are wide these might be uncomfortable after an hour or so of wearing. They are also a little too tight to to wear under jeans unless you have really skinny calfs...but if you get skinny capris it works just as great! All in all I love these boots!! I would highly recommend!

Shoes are very lightweight, almost look too small. Very good for walking around the city, and the more subdued colors look good with casual wear. However, I'll have to agree with others that they're not really running shoes (much less trail running), and would probably not hold up long. Good for the urban hipster, not so much for the active athlete.

I work in a corporate training environment; I need shoes that look professional but also fit/feel well. I've tried brands ranging from Johnston & Murphy to the "Unlisted" models you find here at Amazon. The problem many of you may well be aware of with dress shoes is first couple of times you wear the shoe are crucial in setting where the crease will go. In other words, you want to make sure the crease does not interfere with the toe cap of the shoe. This particular model of Bostonian I believe is ingenious. The toe cap is a beautiful sheen leather whereas the midsection is purposely textured and more flexible. I really wanted these boots after seeing a random girl on the streets wearing them, and then seeing my coworker a few days later with the same boots! They both bought the cognac color, which is the color I bought, and the boots are very comfortable, true to size, and super cute and stylish! The only reason I gave these boots four stars instead of five is because of the quality of the leather. The leather is rather thin and stiff/crumbly like brown packaging paper, not smooth and buttery. But what did you expect for the price? I would not pay more than $120 for these. In fact, I'd say these boots are really worth about $80 max. I only bought these and ignored the quality because the style is too adorable. I've been in scouting for years and had some really crappy boots. I finally took the advice given in training and had someone who knew about boots check out my feet, my walk and all that. They recommended these boots (and the version before). I absolutely love them. They fit ME. I suggest if you are looking at these boots, check with someone who will fit YOU, then buy these if they are on your list. Worst case story on these boots: I wore them on an ATV outing in Mexico and was completely covered in mud. At the end of the trip, to clean off, I just walked into the ocean, boots and all to get the mud off. They smelled a little fishy after that but held up well. I probably should have soaked them in clean water after the salt water. Oh well. The price seemed a little steep ... Read More
