I am describing the Fruit of the Loom 5.6 oz cotton T-shirt. I ordered several of them. They are made of the thinnest fabric I have ever observed in a T-shirt. They are definitely not what I would call Heavy cotton. All the shirts I Ordered came from the Texas Shirt company. I see that my description does not agree with most of the other customer opinions, which makes me think that they may have recently changed the quality of the shirt. When I called the Texas shirt company they told me that the words "Heavy Cotton" was just the shirts name, and did not mean that the fabric was a heavy fabric. I am returning all the shirts.

They are perfect for the change of seasons here in New York because they are a bit heavier; but naturally these shirts are comfortable in warm weather, too. When I 1st opened the package they looked great.Them I noticed the way they were sewed.They look like the old regular briefs with panels sewed on to turn them into boxer brief trunks. With that said they are a little uncomforable at 1st but after a couple of washes they are very comfortable

They are as soft as my flannel pillowcases.There's enough length to tuck in my pants and stay nice and flat,wrinkle free so they stay neat.
