I knew the dimensions I wanted so I didnt have a problem with the fit. The color was a bit surprising however. The color option for "rinse" as shown in the picture was not the color I received. What I got was a navy blue retro looking shade. Other than that , a good buy.

My fiance loves these jeans and I always thought he was nuts that he had to try on the same 505's in the same size but found out you need to read the tag where they were manufactured. At the same store in the same size the same jeans were made in different countries resulting in a different fit. So now we know to look for the country that made them before we buy. They are still a favorite of both of ours as long as we get the same cut. Hopefully my purchase today will be the right ones! This is a test I guess.

I am having issues with my Achilles heel, during the summer I had the Crocs sandal that were so comfortable; when trying to put on sneakers as it got colder it was very painful. I ordered the Mammoth and I wear them 90% of the time; I bought them in blue to match my uniform and on the weekends I try to wear blue to color coordinate. Order one shoe size bigger because of the lining; I ordered my regular size in the sandals and had to return them because they were too big. When ordering the mammoth it stated order one size bigger I did not listen and had to get a bigger size.

Just received the item today (11/14), tried it on and feels/looks great especuially for the price and FREE shipping. The price and FREE shipping alone beats going to the store and wasting gas and time. As for the quality of the shoe, I don't know yet. I'll be using it for work (5 days a week) so we'll see how long it'll last.

The jeans are perfect, and I hate to rate them low, but they were supplied by the incompetent Amazon.com. I guess they have gotten too big to worry about customer service. I paid for next day shipping, and Amazon doesn't deliver to the shipper until the day it is supposed to arrive.If they can't handle the volume then they should either hire more peopleor not be in business, but then the useless CEO's won't get thei millions for doing nothing!! So, in the end beware and check the tracking status of your package!

I own another pair of Beartooth, got these when I saw the great price. For me, they run 1/2 size small, i.e. I typically take a 10 but wear a 10.5 in these. Very comfortable, good cushioning, very good traction; I hike over sandy and damp / wetlands areas, pine flats, oak hammocks, (I live in W. Central FL) and these have me very surefooted. Great value and so far, very durable.
