Converse has been making "Chuck Taylor's" longer than I have been alive and not one animal has lost it's life to make them! The only downside to Converse is that they are not the most comfy shoe, however, a insole insert fits rather nicely into them and then your good to go.

These.are.the.best.slippers.ever! I have given at least 2 pairs as gifts. I have owned at least 2 pairs. They are very warm and cushy. The rubber sole allows me to walk outside with the dogs, and is nice for traction on our hardwood floors. I wear an 8 in sneakers...the womens L(8-9) is too big for me. I have to wear the womens M(6.5-7.5). The L would be ok if i wore socks with them...but i don't...they would be too warm!

I have owned many shoes in my lifetime, and not one pair came even close to my birks. They are beyond comfortable, but they had to be thrown out due to wear and tear. I wore these shoes, literally, every week day for an entire school year. I went to a catholic school and we had to wear black shoes, and my feet are kind of big. Bostons came in my size and they are comfy, so I was sold. I am now becoming a teacher and my birks are long gone, but I am getting a second pair soon. I will wear my new birks every day until they wear out like my last ones did. I'm a huge fan of crocs, they're the only shoe I can wear all day and still feel great. I love the mammoth shoe for it's winter capabilities. The only downside is getting the liner off, and especially back on the shoe after washing. However, I found that by cutting the liner inside around the 'button hole', making it bigger, less round and more like a shirt button hole, this helped immensely in getting the liner back on... I love these shoes! This is my second pair. The suede toe makes them look new for a long time because it does not scuff. Very comfortable and practical. Can be worn with work or casual clothes. Great price on amazon too! I paid half of what I have paid for them at Nordstrom and Macy's.

These shoes felt perfect in the store. I have very high arches and have a hard time finding running shoes, so I was initially quite excited. However, after wearing them a few times, they gave me the most horrible blisters on my heels.
