The material is just smooth cotton - like a t-shirt - while the photo looks like it's a kind of thick terry type cotton - that is what I disliked the most... the photo makes the material look so soft and thick and it's just average t-shirt material. Also, cut is terrible.. nothing like in photo - the top is so low cut your chest will fall out if you sit down and the cut of the body doesn't drape well - tight and/or loose in the wrong places and I'm a fairly off the rack body type size 6.

Because my husband was hinting around for a new bathrobe for his birthday, I decided to splurge and get him something really nice. Even though Amazon told me it would be several days before my order was shipped, I was informed via e-mail three hours later on a Friday that it had already been sent, and it arrived early Monday morning, a full week before Amazon had predicted! It even arrived with a little handwritten note thanking me for my business, which I thought was very sweet. It was nicely wrapped, and was exactly what I had requested. Fair warning; although my husband likes them this way, this is a very big, hefty robe, and is probably not the best for more petite customers. Overall, very pleased.

I purchased this robe thinking that with "lightweight" in the description it wouldn't be so bulky and hot, but I was wrong - very bulky and very hot. I bought a large - I am 5'10 and nine months pregnant and was still swimming in this robe. It is sized way too big, the shoulder seam was midway down my upper arm and I have fairly broad shoulders. The color (mint/sage, whatever they call it) was great though and the length was good for me being so tall - it hit about mid shin. It is definitely not the right type of robe if you want to throw it on while still wet out of the shower or tub, it won't help to dry you at all like terry cloth would. It was kind of uncomfortable when put on if you're wet.

The robe is extremely comfortable and cozy. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan so I was worried about the robe making me too hot but that is not the case. It is not too heavy. It's perfect and I love it.

I love the warmth of this robe but was a little surprised to have it shrink about three inches in length when I washed and dried it. The tag does say "best to dry clean" but, honestly, a bathrobe? The label also instructs to wash in cold water/gentle cycle and dry on lowest setting. I did.

Very comfortable and I love that it is revisable. I am glad I ordered an xl though...I like my pj's large and comfy and this shrank a bit when washed. I am a size 12..so normally large is ok. I just ordered an xl to be on the safe side and boy and I glad! I probably wouldn't pay the 30.00 (MSRP) for it, but for 9.99 it is a GREAT DEAL!
