I rented this recently and will likely purchase. As far as gameplay, I found it to be just like the board game without the hassle of keeping up with the money and all the pieces. Some have complained about the constantly playing music. It did not bother me, but I see where it could be annoying for some. They could have at least come up with a couple different tunes. I just opted to turn the TV down to a low volume. I can also see where some folks complained about visibility on smaller TVs. I played this on a 42". Text was small but readable. It would likely be hard to see on small TVs, especially if your vision is not the best. I played the traditional game, so I can't speak for the other gameplay options.
