Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Difficult to use
After reading the reviews, I decided to buy a 610, and I'm not happy with it at all. First of all, the instruction book is horrible- totally worthless. Second I can't for the life of me get an image from the scanner into an e-mail. The images from the scanner just are very difficult to do anything with.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 610 MP is a great device
I am impressed by the functionality of the printer. I haven't had to replace the ink yet; my hope is that it uses ink efficiently. I am very pleased with it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - MP610 an excellent printer-scanner-copier
If you need a new printer for your home or small business, I highly recommend the Canon 610. Besides making great prints quickly it's also a great scanner/copier. I'm amazed by how good the color copies are from a machine in this price range.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Does it All Well
I picked up the Canon Pixma P610 for a client who needed a new all-in-one printer on her iMac. She had previously used an HP a-i-o printer and after about three years, the device bit the bullet. She had been having trouble with the printer for a very long time so I suggested a new one.

I went through the usual suspects largely ignoring the Canon line of printers, having been less than impressed by them in the 1990's and into the early 2000's. However, after reading reviews at several sites and in a few magazines, I decided to give the Pixma MP610 a go.

The printer is a bit difficult to setup the first time around, you install the print head and several printer cartridges deep inside of the printer, not the easiest install but not too difficult. Once powered up, full of ink and connected to the iMac, we were ready to go.

This guy prints very fast and very sharp. Not quite laser sharp text but pictures print incredibly fast on plain paper and look darn good. We didn't get a chance to do a glossy photo but if it looked anything like the matte, well done.

Scanning was easy and fast, though the included software titles can be a bit confusing as what their purposes are and how to use them. Not a lot of unity over the spectrum. Epson beats the Canon's in branded software for sure.

Can't believe I can say this but the Pixma MP610 is the best all-in-one printer I have ever used.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Canon quality.
I bought this and had it shipped to my daughter. I haven't use this printer but can attest that the canon model that I do have is the BEST photo lab in my office. I have other brands, but when I want to print one of the portraits, I naturally use this one. The Chromakey inks are bright and last. Even smells like a lab printed photo.
