This product does a great job. I've been able to test it several times in the most recent storms of the northeast. The sqft amounts are a little off for me but I think if my driveway were sealed it would go farther in application. The driveway has nooks and crannies. So it must be coating all parts of the driveway. This product does work I've applied it well before a storm to walkways and the driveway and it does slow accumalation and makes it easy to remove the snow or ice after the storm is over. I like it especially for the walkways and steps leading to the patio as these areas I typical neglect and are a pain to shovel. Not anymore.... I now don't have to worry about different ice melts (because we have dogs) stained clothing or the burning off hands as some ice melts will do. It actually makes it fun and easy to apply to hard surfaces. The storage of this stuff is also reduced as 50-100lbs. of ice melt takes up alot of space. Best of all it takes me about 30-40 minutes to apply with a 2 gallon sprayer and then I done until the storm hits and if the weatherman is wrong then I don't have to worry about the ice melt pellets that I probably would have put down in the past which is also a pain because you now have pellets sitting there not doing anything. So the bottom line is this liquid de-icer does work and one has more choices at their disposal as when to apply it!!! I think even my next door neighbor checked out my driveway once because his tracks in the snow went one way towards my driveway!!!! I will be buying from this company again in the near future....

Having a paver walkway of 100 feet leading up to several paver stairs to my house, I was desperate for a deicer which would not crack the pavers. After reading the online advertisement about Bare Ground Spray-On Liquid Deicer I felt confident this product was my answer. I reached deep in my wallet and paid nearly $100 which included shipping. Per instructions, I purchased a spray pump for the application. The product arrived quickly and just in time for the next ice storm.

I filled and pressurized the pump. The spray deicer came out as a small leak rather than a spray. However, I patiently applied a liberal coating to the icey service, working from the front to the back areas(based on the instructions) needing treatment. I heard a little crackling sound which gave me hope. My hope faded quickly when I approached the first treated area and discovered the ice was as solid as the untreated surface. My ice chopper didn't provide any help. Although very messy, my back-up plan was the best answer. I got a bucket of sand an applied it to the surface so as not to have a falling accident.

Being persistent, I decided to give the product another try with the next ice storm. With the same results, I came to the conclusion that P.T. Barnum was right, "A sucker is born every minute." I'm the sucker.

Perhaps the manufacturers of Bare Ground Spray own shares in Ice Skating Rinks that won't melt.
