 - Refills are nice, but save your money and refill cartridge yourself.Much as I enjoyed the thorough cleaning and fresh lemon scent, don't believe the hype about "special cleaning agents" and "blade lubricants"; these cartridges don't contain either. Want proof? Just read the cartridge packaging, each contains nothing but denatured alcohol and "fragrance". So save yourself a bunch of money and to to OSH or any quality hardware store. Buy a quart of Klean-Strip S-L-X Denatured Alcohol for less than $5, and every month or so shake the old dirty alcohol out of the SMALL HOLE and refill through the LARGE HOLE. That way the bits of hair come out and the fresh alcohol rinses the filter clean. I've been doing this for about two years and it works great. Or, buy the Braun Refills if you think the lemon fragrance is worth $10 a month... Rating: - Braun Clean & ChargeMy husband loves the shaver and these replacement cartridges are easy to use. Just throw away the old one and insert a new one. He wouldn't go back to the old fashioned way. Rating: - These things are great......every time I charge and clean my razor it's as good as having a new razor. I hope they don't change the design or stop making these things. Rating: - Awesome fluid for an awesome shaverI don't know why anyone else is complaining about the price or what not about these refills for the Braun shavers. You get 3, and these last you for a while, and it's a lot less pricey than buying razors, shaving cream, after shave, etc. This product is definitely worth it, and Amazon is the cheapest place that has this product. Rating: - Do the mathMy husband loves this razor. He bought the first refills for it from Rite Aid for $7 and change each plus tax, without asking me to shop around for him (sigh). Amazon runs them three for $12.99 including super saver shipping. I looked around and can't find them any cheaper than this. If someone else can, I wish they would let me know. | |
