Apparel : Moby Wrap Baby Carrier-12 Colors with 2 New Limited Colors!!

Search Apparel - select a category

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - great for your baby
more snug than the bjorn, more secure than the sling. easy to use - a few seconds more to get it set up but is the most comfortable carrier
love it!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good product
I would recommend this product. My 3 month old did not like the Ergo carrier and loves the Moby wrap. Surprisingly, I find the Moby much more simpler to use than the Ergo. With the Moby I just wrap and tie one knot vs having to use the Ergo infant adaptor, snap all the buckles(back/sides), adjust the straps, and use the security loops, etc. Lastly the Moby breaths better, I found that we tended to overheat with the Ergo.

The material is a long piece of cloth and relatively easy to wrap. I would recommend looking at YouTube to get a visual of the instructions on how to wrap it.

If you're worried about wrapping this long piece of cloth in public or parking lot, I would recommend wrapping it at home, so that you'll have to insert the baby when you get your destination.

I've worn the Moby when my baby is still in the stroller and have gotten comments on my stylish wrap (folks not realizing that it's a carrier). I chose the black color for it's versatility and have found that it's easy to match any outfit.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A great carrier option
The Moby Wrap works well for me and my 6 week old 13 lb. baby. I'm 5'5" and 155 lbs. I have lower back pain if I hold my baby for too long. I own a baby bijorn and have tried a hotsling. My baby just doesn't seem to be ready for the bijorn. I often need to support her head with 1 hand while she's in the bijorn. In the hotsling she seemed very insecure and uncomfortable. Both of these seem like they would be good for an older baby. The hotsling's portability is appealing. The bijorn is secure and quick to put on, but not easy to put a reluctant baby into.

My back does not hurt at all while wearing my baby in the Moby. There are numerous videos on youtube, as well as a couple on mobywrap.com to teach you how to wrap the Moby. My baby is secure and my hands are completely free when she's in it. The wrap almost wears like a shirt. The Moby D would be a cool splurge for a more fashionable "shirt". It is better to plan ahead and put it on at home if you want to use it at the store or other public place.

Pros: *comfortable and very secure for mom and baby * multiple positions *hands are free, even when bending over *well priced *can be a stylish, warm layer in colder weather.

Cons: * need to practice before using * too much material for hot weather * need to plan ahead and be wearing it like a shirt or jacket before leaving the house.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This thing is a life saver...
All I can say about the Moby wrap is WOW. My son is 19 days old and spends the majority of his waking time crying inconsolably due to colic/gas pains. It is nearly impossible to soothe him much of the time, and often things that work once don't work again... That is, until I tied him into the Moby! Normally a very fussy baby, he relaxed within the first 30 seconds of being placed in the wrap, and both times I've tried it so far he has fallen asleep and/or been comforted almost immediately. He also usually can't stand having his feet covered, but for some reason he does not seem to mind this while in the Moby.

Today he missed naptimes and was especially cranky. Thanks to the Moby, as I am typing this (hands free for the first time all day!) he is finally resting and catching up on the sleep he missed today. I couldn't be more thrilled and I learned to wrap it in less than 5 minutes watching a You Tube video. It's almost like I'm still pregnant with him because of the body closeness and I think that's a huge part of how relaxed my little bean feels while in it. Try this thing... you won't be sorry. I think it just may be the #1 sanity saver I've discovered so far. :)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great wrap!
My 5 month old boy LOVES this wrap. He hated slings so I thought wearing him wasn't going to happen until I found this wrap. He absolutely loves his Moby and I am very comfortable wearing it. People always stop me to comment on how cute we look in it, too!
