This Waterpik dental water jet really does cleans your teeth due to the adjustable high pressure water that shoots through your gum. Be careful not to let it hit your tongue or throat unless if you use the tongue scraper head. It also claims a quiet operation. However, the noise is so loud that my family can hear it operates out in the living room. This makes me wonder how loud the cheaper Waterpik models can get..a V8 engine???

I had my last WaterPik for nearly 15 years. I didn't use it nightly - perhaps once a week. But I'm getting older and gum/teeth care has become more important (it should have been important all along!!) I thought I was doing a good job with flossing and use of a Sonicare, but not so. I started using the old Waterpik regularly, and last week, it gave up the ghost. I started searching, and Amazon had the best price, plus free shipping and the $10 off coupon. I didn't bother comparing other brands - Waterpik makes a good machine.

I was very pleasantly surprised - this model is more compact, more attractive (which means it gets left on the countertop and used nightly!!) and is quieter than my old model. I love the various attachments, particularly the pictip. I also like the storage compartment - everything nicely in one place. The resevoir is big enough and easily refilled if you need more water. And the pressure? Wow! Pressure to spare and so easily adjustable. Overall, a great improvement over my last, very faithful, Waterpik. Nice to see a company keep all the good features and add new ones. I liked this so well I ordered a second one for my son.

I totally love this product as it actually cleans your teeth and massages your gums. It is not time consuming and your teeth feel like they have just come from the dentist!! A shower for the mouth!!!
