good design, but bad application. I don't care how neat of a person u are, if you use this tool properly you will make a mess. Countertops, mirrors, and floors. Go with the "ShowerBreeze w/ 3' hose Oral Irrigator by ORALBREEZE that connects directly in line with the water supply IN your shower (where the splashing belongs). No dead batterries after a short time, no weak water pressure from rechargable units, and no refilling the water every time either. And if you can't figure out how to put it in you deserve to clean up bathrooms full-time. If u read this before you purchased anything someone must be looking out for you upstairs. Rating: - great water pik
This water pik is excellent. I read about some previous problems with other models and my husband and I have not experienced any of them. It is small, efficient, does not leak, works extremely well and cleans even after brushing and flossing. Could not be happier.

Rating: - Waterpik meets expectations
Compared to the Waterpik that I owned 15 years ago, this machine is better designed. I thought the spray force was about the same as that of my old model. There is a small button on the handle that ejects the tip, and this is easy to activate inadvertantly when storing the unit. This makes for a facial lavage at the next session, so I've learned to check the security of the tip before starting. There are many tips in the case that sits on the water tank, and I am still experimenting with them. Overall I am happy with the function and value of this product.

Rating: - excellent product
This product saved my gums from the bleeding and pain I usually experience with flossing. I bought it recently, therefore I am not yet able to fully assess the effects on the health of my gums and teeth, but things seem to have improved a lot already, so I have high hopes of reducing the number of trips to the dentist in future.

Rating: - My dental hygienist gave me an A
I'm very pleased with the result. When possible, I use it after each meal. At my most recent dental appointment, the hygienist said she saw a great improvement in the condition of my gums. The Pik comes with an assortment of tools, but I use only the water pick tool. I'm not sure what the others are for.
